SOMETHING made the game sharper by simply setting it from "true" to "false" so it's just a matter of trial and error. As you can see, it also disabled virtually every post-processing effect as well.

It is more memory leak issues causing crashing right now. It does have an autosave feature like DE did though so it is less off a hassle compared to how it was in 2.

Ryujinx is way more demanding than yuzu though, keep that in mind. Yuzu runs at steady 30 with my 3050 but Ryujinx has heavy framedrops. Same area, no scaling, no mods.
I play on Ryujinx with gtx 1660s with no problem. that being said yeach Ryujinx is more demanding but also more stable and no memory leak or atleast not as massive since i was playing for like 4 hours and it took 6gb ram

Here's one that only disables dynamic res and the ColReduction setting that's responsible for the broken scaling and nothing else.
The decrypted files were shared on gbatemp. I just found and fixed the bugged values so disabling dynamic res worked. Haven't posted it on any other websites.
You can't stop the stuttering on openGL, not possible. Best you can do is use Ryujinx and a downloading a precompiled shader cache, but it'll still stutter.

Yuzu is more stable , but only until it fills my RAM. Can't check if it works atm, because it decided to yeet itself out of my PC and now I can't access settings and enable mods even after clean reinstall

If yuzu is working fine for you then keep at it. If it isn't then this will work better on win 11 for ryujinx.

that's all on your end. I'm playing fine with DS4 with no audio issues.
Part of me still wants to wait until it's officially out with the patch, 60fps mod and the emulator scaler working, but it looks pretty good for what we have right now.
Upscaling artifacts. Have to wait for devs to fix the issues, but even at 1x you get 720p instead of 360p with the mod. You could also just live with the artifacts. Less severe at higher multipliers.
depents on how good pc you have.. if you can play on Ryujinx with shaders as you will have no memory leaks and can play for long period of time.. if you do not have that good pc then Yuzu.
Yuzu has better performance but less accuracy while it is the opposite for ryujinx. Especially if you knock down GPU accuracy to normal and CPU accuracy to unsafe in yuzu to get the most out of it.

I'm 15 hours in and the harder battle require a lot of strategy and they're very fast, you need to think when to use Ouroboros, when to use chain attacks, how to position the party, how to combo Fusion Arts, and for the first time ever you can switch characters mid battle so that alone makes so that you always have something to do instead of just standing still and attacking

No, it should run it perfectly fine. Yuzu opengl, set triple buffering on in nvidia ctrl panel options. High gpu accuracy. Same with XC2 and DE.

Ryujinx is way more demanding than yuzu though, keep that in mind. Yuzu runs at steady 30 with my 3050 but Ryujinx has heavy framedrops. Same area, no scaling, no mods.
I play on Ryujinx with gtx 1660s with no problem. that being said yeach Ryujinx is more demanding but also more stable and no memory leak or atleast not as massive since i was playing for like 4 hours and it took 6gb ram

What a shame, the shader stutter makes it unplayable. Vulkan has async which fixes stutter but the game no boot. I know anons here upload opengl cache but its not even close to complete so past a couple of hours the game becomes massive stuter.

No. Right click on XC3 and click on Open Mod Data location. Place the ResMod folder there. Works the same on both emulators.

You can't stop the stuttering on openGL, not possible. Best you can do is use Ryujinx and a downloading a precompiled shader cache, but it'll still stutter.

Part of me still wants to wait until it's officially out with the patch, 60fps mod and the emulator scaler working, but it looks pretty good for what we have right now.
Upscaling artifacts. Have to wait for devs to fix the issues, but even at 1x you get 720p instead of 360p with the mod. You could also just live with the artifacts. Less severe at higher multipliers.

Anyone here with a 1050 Ti 4GB or similar tried out the game? XC2 ran quite poorly when I last tried a year ago.

depents on how good pc you have.. if you can play on Ryujinx with shaders as you will have no memory leaks and can play for long period of time.. if you do not have that good pc then Yuzu.

why is yuzu running at a locked 30 with open gl when ryujinx with shaders and vulkan performs around 24 fps?
Yuzu has better performance but less accuracy while it is the opposite for ryujinx. Especially if you knock down GPU accuracy to normal and CPU accuracy to unsafe in yuzu to get the most out of it.

Nah "unsafe" means unsafe optimizations which reduce accuracy but give a bit more performance.
But yuzu performs better with GPU high specifically in XC games.

Also tried that 60 fps mod. It "works" however I can't actually get 60 fps. It also speeds up the menus and cutscenes so I imagine they will have to make a cheat similar to XC2 where it caps to 30 on those.

You have glorious specs then. On my poorgay shitbox yuzu runs at 30 and Ryujinx drops to 25 often. 10100 +3050, sadly yuzu has a memory leak.

I did I can get 40-50 fps on a 5600x and 3080ti. Game speed is doubled in menus and cutscenes.

Gameplay-wise I think this might be the best Xenoblade yet, battles are really fast, chaotic and have a lot of strategy, I'm liking it
I take it the combat gets better, I only played 3-4h and so far it feels like XC2 but with only 1 Blade and no Blade combos.
I'm 15 hours in and the harder battle require a lot of strategy and they're very fast, you need to think when to use Ouroboros, when to use chain attacks, how to position the party, how to combo Fusion Arts, and for the first time ever you can switch characters mid battle so that alone makes so that you always have something to do instead of just standing still and attacking
Really engaging, even more so than 2

Regular ryujinx is limited to opengl only. What I linked is the regularly updated vulkan build. Also includes opengl as well.

What the FRICK were they thinking with the blurry shit? Looks like shit and rapes performance.
Switch is extremely slow and runs the game at low res, they have to do something to get it to look like not an absolutely jaggy mess so they're using some AA to smooth it over, plus some blur is inevitable if it has to upscale since the game isn't running at the screen's native res.
The blur is to hide how low res it has to run on switch to avoid frame drops.
Tried both Yuzu and Ryujinx with the mods, Ryujinx looks and runs better.
