I like xenoblade as a series
2 is the one I am least likely to replay because actually playing it is misery
HOWEVER, I deeply respect it because it was made by about 40 people while the rest of Monolithsoft was commandeered by Nintendo, and it's dripping with love for both anime and RPGs
I can feel the strong passion and intent even if I do not enjoy how it came out (this time)
Doesn't matter how many times you try to say it, it'll never be true. It's one of Nintendo's strongest RPG series, and Monolith's been working on the next game for quite a while now.
Future redeemed for me was peak Xenoblade.
Refined combat, great music, probably the best area in the series (black mountain) some interesting characters (despite only a little time to develop them).
I don't even care if they went so hard with the fanservice. It was a fitting end to the series.
I have minor opinions on how the games run or how the combat/gameplay systems are compared to eachother, but no not really. All of them are in my "Yes, I like this. More please." category
Gameplay-wise, 2 doesn't do a great job of following up on the things 1 did well, it's more an attempt to retool and avoid the parts 1 did poorly. So you're probably more detecting that it's missing what you like, than detecting something about it you dislike in particular.
I would say it is, but ymmv depending on wether or not you can stomach some bloated and unrefined mechanics and some jarring pacing and tone issues. People seem to either love it or hate it, which is understandable. It has extremely high highs and extremely low lows.
Fun main characters, protag can't scream in English but he's a good boy. Gameplay is fricking great but it takes a long time to ramp up and loses too many people early on. The plot really kicks in at the end of Chapter 3, and gameplay isn't fully open till chapter 8, in a 10 chapter game. Interesting world building and lore that ties it to 1 and continues in 3. tl;dr shit is fun
There should be a term to describe games held up as masterpieces that only manage it because their fans were console-locked away from the best examples of the genre. Okami is another one: I'm convinced it's only considered good because PS2-gays couldn't play Zelda at the time.
>No one mains a switch it’s a side piece mobile device
They honestly do, though. There's a bunch of women and normies in my office whose sole vidya experience is phone games and the Switch.
tbf Modern gaming is pretty garbage. When the full priced games are as predatory as the mobile games the difference between mobile gaming and console gaming is how honest you want your ward to be about the ass fricking.
Probably the most divisive entry but the best jrpg series of the last decade.
>last decade
*of all time
Days since Resetera cried about Xenoblade 2: 0

OP is a Black person and tongues my anus

I don't understand why people need to fight over which ones in the same series/continuity is "best" when it'll always be subjective, no exeptions.
I love them all
It's to generate discussion anon.
I love them all but surely you have an opinion/ favourite
I have minor opinions on how the games run or how the combat/gameplay systems are compared to eachother, but no not really. All of them are in my "Yes, I like this. More please." category
For me it's FR > 2 > 3=Torna > 1 > FC. I don't even hate FC.
they/them
The most forced-hated IP on the internet.
>Thank frick it's dead now
>He's unaware
Eeeeh Sure, OP, sure.
>our
If you're mentioning the IP atleast use an image of the first game.
I really like XC1. I've tried to play 2 multiple times but I get turned off by the game a few hours in for some reason. It's probably the artstyle.
Gameplay-wise, 2 doesn't do a great job of following up on the things 1 did well, it's more an attempt to retool and avoid the parts 1 did poorly. So you're probably more detecting that it's missing what you like, than detecting something about it you dislike in particular.
So why is this game good? every time i ask this the fanboys freak out and answer with nothing lol
might have something to do with you posing the question like that, you know
I would say it is, but ymmv depending on wether or not you can stomach some bloated and unrefined mechanics and some jarring pacing and tone issues. People seem to either love it or hate it, which is understandable. It has extremely high highs and extremely low lows.
>It has extremely high highs
it had No such thing

How?
You honestly give a shit about my opinion?
Speak for yourself resetera gay
*neogaf
XC2 sold more than FFXVI and Rebirth lmao.
Indeed it did. No wonder Ganker hates it
>XC2
Now let's see XC3's numbers.
>Salesgay
The salesgay is here
He brought it up, not me
3 is outselling 2 for the same point in after the games’ releases
Lmao no it is not. 3 has not even reached 2 million yet, which XC2 cleared before Pyra and Mythra were even in Smash
Nope xc2 didn’t hit 2 mil until 5 years after release and plateaued. Xc3 is already at 1.7 mil
>Xc3 is already at 1.7 mil
It was like that nearly 2 years ago. Now it's at 1.9 mil. XC3 plateaud already and it's not selling anymore
Every one of these threads:
>Xenoblade is just breasts and ass.
>Nu uh, Xenoblade is deep and meaningful, look, here's a picture of breasts and ass.
Frick Xenoblade. Frick coomers, frick Takahashi for selling out, frick you for enabling him with your lack of taste.
>frick Takahashi for selling out
I can never hate a man who has access to frick you Nintendo money for his personal project. Wish that was me.
Uh huh. And why don't you show us one of these supposed interactions?
No
Stop basing your opinions on Ganker threads, you dumbfrick
Xenogears was peak coomer my neuro divergent friend
Sorry m'cuck xc4/xenosaga4 is coming and there is nothing you can do to stop it

Are you implying Xenoblade is one of those? No one mains a switch it’s a side piece mobile device
>No one mains a switch it’s a side piece mobile device
They honestly do, though. There's a bunch of women and normies in my office whose sole vidya experience is phone games and the Switch.
Terrifying. Can't imagine not at least having a cursory knowledge of PC.
This is a tendie board so that is the reality of most anons you post with
The thing is, I like a lot of Nintendo games. I've been called a tendie literally hundreds of fricking times.
tbf Modern gaming is pretty garbage. When the full priced games are as predatory as the mobile games the difference between mobile gaming and console gaming is how honest you want your ward to be about the ass fricking.
Chinktroony, you lost and got raped
