It's very good. Maybe comes in a slight bit below Half-Life, but very memorable and well-presented nonetheless. I thought it was better than Deus Ex and Bioshock, and that was without having played the first System Shock.
It's about as complicated as deus ex like he mentioned. At the very least unlike the first game it has mouselook and the HUD doesn't look like a 747 jumbo jet wienerpit.

Yes. Ever play bioshock or prey? It's like those but better.
There's a bit of deus ex in there too with Stat upgrades and hacking and stuff
