>Yeah, it was a little restricting to make games like this
>zelda babbies are proud of their easy puzzle handholding with some voice literally guiding you through each one
moron
Can't say I blame the man. If morons will buy it, may as well market it.
NOBODY COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DEATH OF THE OCARINA GAMEPLAY MODEL HAS PLAYED SKYWARD SWORD
>nintendo makes five games
>each of declining quality
>blame the formula and not the devs
The devs were tired of being locked into a shitty formula by moronic fan expectations and lost their enthusiasm. Thank God for BotW, now Zelda is good for the first time in over a decade.
If nintendo didn't want to make zelda anymore, they should have just admitted as much and made botw a new ip
All of them except for Ocarina and Skyward were rushed to frick
>Yeah, it was a little restricting to make games like this
>instant seething from switch gays
It's been years, let it go.
>Yeah, it was a little restricting to make good games with lots of content
But his linear Zelda games weren't good. They were the epitome of phoning it in. Even Aonuma admits this, as the reason he made BotW was to do all the ideas he wanted to do in Wind Waker, but couldn't because of "hardware limitations."
>good games with lots of content
Name one.
>Zelda cucks really think old pre BoTW had lots of content outside of the 2D games
six more years
>t. shits on every single older zelda despite sucking them off earlier before BotW
Let me guess, you shat on older pokemon games in order to defend sword and shield as well?
>games with lots of content
Open world games are more work than other games
No they aren't.
In every way, it was. More assets to make. More pre production planning. More playtesting to do to learn how to guide people to certain areas, whereas in the previous Zelda games it's just a linear zone where you have only one way to go. They had to redo the game engine multiple times. And so on.
TotK probably wasn't as much work. But the first game was the most labor intensive Zelda since Ocarina.
>use procedural generation/AI for everything
>this is somehow harder
>use procedural generation/AI for everything
But they didn't.
when are you guys going to understand that the entire series is an allegory about aounuma accepting he is gay and wants to frick little boys in skirts
>lots of content
homie you can 100% OoT or any of its copycats in 15 hours and the content isn't even very good
Totk has the same amount of content but spread thin across a 200-hour slog
TotK has more content in a single region than OoT does in its entire map.
Proof?
it's obvious.
Black person
Not him, but it's not that hard to compare. Ocarina has a couple dozen things in Hyrule Field and about the same in each other area. TotK has more "content" in just one random area. Meaning, random junk on the ground to fuse together, animals, enemies, gear, plants, etc. But it's up to personal opinion if that "content" is good. In some ways, the old barren Hyrule Field is better.
>6+ MORE years of snoys seething
You love to see it
