the developers made it much easier when it was re-released on other platforms. the arcade version is an absolute c**t as the bullets are so small and poorly coloured that players can barely see them. and the ranking system is complete nonsense to follow if you're not used to these kinds of games.
looks like you've never played it, not even once.
the bullets are really visible by the color difference of them and the way they are indented in black, the issue is the gray monsters which don't have any of that.
for re-releases/ports/emulations play the new m2 one and the saturn one on type 1 with a 10% of slowdown, never play type 2 because that shit is harder than the original by increasing the rank to ridiculous levels and the forced options make some parts of the game nearly impossible to complete.
the m2 revision has bullet visibility options.
it also has on screen cheats like boss health display

batrider and garegga are equal, they have the same rank and naunces, the only difference is that garegga is stricter on the rank and batrider on character management.
Garegga is just the reddit/fake interest game. Batrider literally improves on Garegga in every conceivable way and is actually a great game, and 1944 is Raizing's best game.
In some NES shooters bullets LITERALLY are impossible to see because the disappear due to NES sharting its pants. Happened in this one for example
