Yeah no idea how this level works and people who say SMW is easier than SMB3 are stupid. There is annoying shit, traps, puzzles and things everywhere and it's generally faster. I'm inclined to say I like SMB3 more ltierally because of that

SMB is just 'hard' because no save option
>Yeah no idea how this level works
Is that the level where you kind of mess around with a bunch of doors, then you eventually find yourself outside of the house where the goal is? Yeah, what is going on with that level? SMW doesn't have scripting, so did they make copies if the same room with different doors? Are there alternate ways of getting to the exit? It is mysterious. SMB3 did have some mysterious fortresses though, I remember one with like 7 or 8 doors you have to try. Altogether, I would say SMB3 had greater mystery about it because a lot of levels were quite strange and wacky and you never quite knew what to expect.
It took me 30 years to finally figure out how gliding with the cape works
I've seen someone reach soda lake by just gliding right before the first finish line. I could never dupe that method and just abandon Yoshi mid air.
it works differently on pal and is much more annoying than us/jap where you just tap back in a rhythm
What's the difference?
Bro, you suck. Real /vr/os beat this as 3rd graders.
Go set up a stream and play the game without practicing before. We'll watch. You have 1 hour
>play the game without practicing before
NTA, but I couldn't do that. I literally play the game almost every month.
Nta but I wish I was set up to do so because I haven't played in probably a decade and I know I could clear the whole thing + Star Road within the day. If you were talking about anything other than Mario it might be a challenge but if ever you have beaten an OG Mario platformer, those physics and the feeling of holding run at nearly all times and how you move as a result should be burned into your muscle memory. Idk maybe if you can't feel the difference in movement physics between 3 and W it could be challenging for 10 minutes?
>he didn't get the red !
Walk away now.
just played and stopped after this level yesterday. had to play it again though because it's a totally forgettable ghost house.
OP has turbo zoomer brain, there is absolutely no excuse for this one, the only trick is to waste your time if you use the P-block immediately. no secret paths, no mazes, only 2 doors to choose from.
Literally what p block?
What? Not that guy but yeah there is. That's how I always did the level?
The game tells you you there's a "secret" door with coins. And if you know that you know there's a p switch to reveal. So just back track and hit every block until you find it.
It's not hard, and it wasn't hard as a kid.
>just hit every generic block when there are literally 100 and nothing indicates that there is a block aside from this coin pattern I only know because I finished this game multiple times
okay
>just hit every generic block when there are literally 100
what fricking game are you even playing? there are only 3 blocks in that room. I'm starting to think you got filtered by the giant ghost fart bubbles.
There is no p block, you are moronic
These levels were an interesting diversion. Not hard, just a bit tricky until you figure the secret door.
oh boy, yet another "i complain about stupid minor things in this retro game" thread!
featuring: the zoomer mention gay, the blogposter gay, the "i beat this as a 0 years old fetus" gay, and more
goddamnit this board is dead as frick.
but hey, it's still better than having yet another thread about the Black person
Why do zoomers insist on coming here an embarrassing themselves? It's so fricking unreal...
