I loved Murkrow as a kid. It was one of the only newly added dark tyoes so it was cool as frick. I remember it looked really cool on the pog designs, and it did look sinester. I still refuse to believe they game them that gay evolution that completely shits on their theme and aesthetic

I love that paradox mons totally shit on these (and Sneasler). If they were treated like Wyrdeer and Ursaluna are (as in they are rare, and not meant as the necesary end stage) i wouldnt mind them as much.

Some of these are not as offensive as the gen iv ones, but imo they go against the lore of pokemon a little bit. I am fine with Porygon since that is an artificial pokemon and eevee, since its point is evolving into different shit, but the rest should be treated as rare ocurrences for some individuals of their species instead of the norm

Munchlax and maybe Bonsly are probably the only 2 of these where I don't have any problem with them at all. Even the ones I like, I don't particularly enjoy the different flavor most of these have to their originals. Just a lot of weird choices that make them definitely feel like they were designed in a different generation, and a lot of the original themes and directions their evos seemed to be heading were just completely thrown out and replaced by something else for no apparent reason.
I didn't realize chingling was a cross gen evo because I've never thought about chimecho for a single moment in my life.
Rhyperior, Magmortar and Lickilicky are the only three I'd outright consider bad, the rest range from netural to great.
