Fair enough. To be fair I've given games a negative review due to technical issues (the game never ran so the review has 0.1 minutes of played time) and after 30 minutes (the game was THAT bad out of the gate)

I realized I didn’t want to play this game anymore after the first pirate encounter and it tried to give me a tutorial on persuading the guy to go away. To be fair I probably played more than 20 minutes. Because I remember going into space and being unimpressed by the space gameplay. I remember going to some shitty looking city, meeting the constellation crew or w/e they’re called, and then uninstalling.

I don't know about the PC people, but I played Starfield on my Xbox Series X. As soon as the first firefight started, I dropped the game. It has some of the worst controls I've ever played. Halo: Combat Evolved for the Xbox has better controls.
Majority of buyer will check the game on YouTube first and if they see a lot of negative reviews on the front page they will dismiss the game immediately or wait until sale season. You can't really expect people to spend $60-70 just to check out a game.
Properly a lot of people got the game for free as gift and do this just because frick Bethesda.
