why would sony raid steam? it's just people without real problems so they buy some game just to review bomb because internet polsters told them to do so
>Review game negatively with low hours >"LMAOO YOU JUST HATE THE GAME YOU HAVEN'T EVEN EXPERIENCED IT YET INCEL!" >Reveiw game negatively with loads of hours >"UHM SWEATY YOU PLAYED THE GAME FOR [Insert Number Here] HOURS, AND NOW YOU WANNA SAY ITS BAD? LOL!"
Yes there is clearly nothing in between leaving a negative review with 0.1 hours and leaving a negative review with over 100 hours you disingenuous bloody snoy vermin
Loads of hours means the person gave it a genuine chance and has merit for their poor review. Somebody playing for 30 minutes which is probably right after the character creation isn't. The only excuse is if the game flat out doesn't work and is constantly crashing. I haven't play it so I have no idea how it actually is.
>people get gifted starfield for christmas >they heard the negative things about it, so as they play they notice these more >leaves a review with all the regurgitated talking points
It's not hard to figure out
I wish Steam could do some changes to their review system >Can't review a game if the game time is less than 1 hour >Can no longer do "le funny" reviews >Reviews can't be too short.
Get rid of the awards as well as those copy paste checklist reviews and then steam reviews can be talked about like they aren't just an extension of the shithole that is the steam forums.
imagine being so inept and braindead that you cannot express your feelings in actual words, so you resort to bringing your wojak cancer to other places.
To review a game on Steam, not only you have to buy the game, you also have to install it and play it for a short amount of time.
Lots of effort for a supposed raid.
There's already a minimum time before review, IIRC is something like 10-15 minutes.
There is no way to automatically prevent "le funny" reviews.
Demanding an artificial minimum length on reviews is silly: "game is no longer developed, and does not start on Windows 7 and above" is a perfectly valid and useful review.
>Reviews can't be too short.
i saw a review on it today that just said "nah" so i don't think you're right about that.
i would like a filter for the trash joke reviews as those aren't very informative if my goal is to make a purchase.
anything goes on the starfield review section however because i pirated it and personally confirmed it's: nah.
>0.2 hours on record
That's 12 minutes. Barely enough to get through the character creator if the person was genuine in trying out the game
I don't doubt people being disappointed in the game. I doubt the ones with less than an hour on record are genuine.
anything that markets itself on a grand scale is subjective to time-based judication. if your ads don't hook me in time for the skip button to activate then your idea didn't work. i click the skip button. video games are the same thing. entire industry is so watered down and uninspired we can afford to do this. any idiot can throw money at assets for their shit idea and pump out a fricking mediocre game if it they ever bother finishing it and slopfield is what happens when you do that when your audience quite literally expected something higher than this level of effort for the world that you promised.
>>OP doesn't think it's organic
Not when the review says 0.2 hours of gametime.
imagine being so inept and braindead that you cannot express your feelings in actual words, so you resort to bringing your wojak cancer to other places.
>this is a raid >not just a bunch of people with christmas money waiting to see if patches made it better a few months after an indisputably dogshit release that every single person that didn't have a mouthful of Todd's ballsac bagged on
To be this moronic is impressive
troony Gate 3 has more personality, setup characters in it's first 30 minutes than the entirety of starjeet, seethe homosexual, next time make a better game you fricking hack
Yeah I gave it 10 hours before deciding it was a steaming pile of shit, uninstalling and leaving a negative review.
I wish I was one of these guys, I want my time back.
It is boring and tedious though, people are really fricking mad that they sacrificed a 10+ dev cycle on this flaming trash pile rather than giving us another Fallout or TES game, or even letting Obsidian get another crack at a spin off title
It doesn't cost 70 fricking dollars to shitpost in metacritic. Also absolutely nobody ever in the history of the world has ever cared about user score on metacritic
it's just fricking boring and bland, why can't you accept it? That being said it's nowhere near bad enough to be getting mostly negative. The people crying about it being the le shittiest game ever exaggerate just as much as the people who shill for it, it is the most 6/10 game made in the last decade
Reminder that there is an organized shill psyop by snoys and BG3/Cyberpunk trannies to make you hate Starfield because it is pro-western and pro-Christianity.
because i ask again i wonder how those negative reviews differ from each other
im sure all the ones removed from bg3 were as tame as "im gonna review bomb lmao"
if objectively speaking i humor you with an actually serious response i think it would be picrel. it's literally the only thing i remember that has a sense of humor in it that isn't cringe, but it's also a kitboga joke and a meme in general so it's absolutely not original.
everything else in my screenshots folder is a bunch of absolutely embarrassing moments and frick you for making me dig through it again.
not necessarily, but the writing itself is extremely embarrassingly bad.
if picrel happened in skyrim or a fallout game, it would trigger a fight. there would be a lore-related reason he's fighting you over the sandwich: food might be scarce in this region. you'd need to then either use your unarmed skills, or pull out a gun or a sword. you'd end up killing the dude, and would aggro the guards, resulting in either financial harm, jail time, and/or result in karmatic loss with a certain faction. basically this interaction would cause consequence.
but in starfield: aw man, my sandwich :'(. this game is for stupid people.
okay i'll name you several >seeing a terrormorph for the first time in the UC quest >meeting yourself in the unity, several times after crossing the unity >discovering vae victis is alive
THIS! Everyone knows that Starfield is actually a 10/10 GAME OF THE GENERATION and a combo effort of SNOYS and the CHINEASE are working to undervalue it because the insects and the israelites in charge of both are trying as hard as they can to ruin the honest work of the WHITE MEN from Microsoft.
personally, I really was loving the game, but my biggest problem with the game, is it has what is essentially a NG+, but next to no actual replayability to make it worth doing it.
Like if your like me and took your time on your first playthrough, you likely experienced nearly all the major questlines and the huge bulk of the interesting sidequests before even unlocking the powers, and then by the time I actually hit NG+ there just wasn't anything left to do, but grind levels/more NG+ tiers
Anon, starfield being shit is a fact. It's not an opinion. It runs like shit, plays like shit, and looks like shit. The only good part of the game is Lego starship creator(a starship that will have no uses because the rest of the game is boring shit). You can't make a game in a well defined genre, ignore all the genre rules, bring nothing new, call it "nasapunk" and expect people to like it. As a cosmo sim starfield as at the leve ofl(and sometimes lower than) Galaxy on fire, 2010 android game. Maybe they can make it an ok game if they make major improvements to combat system and space travel as well as space itself, but boring plot and companions is something they can't fix until modders do it for them.
how does the ship creator even get good? not trying to argue it just didn't feel *any* good to me. i was not treated to enough gugguda-guggada throughout the game to enjoy anything. game was constantly talking my head off, withholding the shooting sections, trying to trick me into walking around boring environments was "exploring", introducing contrived system after contrived system, annoying me with endless quick travel cutscenes, space pirate buttholes and gay random encounters. i got to ship building, and it won't let me add more than 1 singular new component to the starting ship. there is no room for anything else, and i can't afford any of this shit. even when i come back to revisit it later when i have more money, i upgrade my weapons to all green stats, and they became objectively worse. i hated the shipbuilding. i hated EVERYTHING in this game. it's a bunch of cobbled together undercooked ideas.
i know there is talent in bethesda. they didn't put out their effort, or they were ignored, and both of those are management's fault, and thinking of this as being todd's child project: it was todd's fault. he didn't let them make a bethesda game, he forced them to make *his* game, and shot down anything that would have saved it likely for the sake of saving money the cheap ass Black person he is.
It is fun when you have money because it is pure creativity starship autism. You get money same way as in fo4, just build an outpost, slap any resource generator, timeskip until storage is full and sell the resource
i personally found skipping around to all the best-known traders i had in my head to be the absolute worst time-wasting experiences in this game and it was one of the biggest reasons i quit playing it. just making money this way feels awful. the series of cutscenes to take off and get anywhere feels so fricking terrible. prev beth titles didn't have any locomotion in the loading screens and trying to add it kills it.
it feels as if this game was accidentally turned into an art project at some point to express what pure banality is.
The game is on PC and on XBox. It's just not very good.
Is this some forced drama to keep the game relevant? Nobody is even talking about the game. Not even shitposting.
You also forgot that Bethesda has been releasing kinda shitty games for quite some time. Their last game was F76 which was a massive disaster
MA'AM
why would sony raid steam? it's just people without real problems so they buy some game just to review bomb because internet polsters told them to do so
Why would snoy raid zelda reviews? Also in steam you can just review and refund
>Review game negatively with low hours
>"LMAOO YOU JUST HATE THE GAME YOU HAVEN'T EVEN EXPERIENCED IT YET INCEL!"
>Reveiw game negatively with loads of hours
>"UHM SWEATY YOU PLAYED THE GAME FOR [Insert Number Here] HOURS, AND NOW YOU WANNA SAY ITS BAD? LOL!"
Yes there is clearly nothing in between leaving a negative review with 0.1 hours and leaving a negative review with over 100 hours you disingenuous bloody snoy vermin
cope
>ummm, you have to play the game exactly X hours, not a second more and not a second less, otherwise you're not allowed to say it's bad, sweaty!!!
If you have 0.2 hours of play time logged you should not be allowed to have an opinion on the bloody game. Can we agree on that?
If you're british you should be forced off the internet. Can we agree on that?
If a game needs 2 hours to become good then it's not a good game at all.
For me, it's
>This game sucks
>200 hours played (1.8 hours played at time of review)
Hit the nail on the head right there. Starfield is a trash-heap and there’s simply no saving this disgrace of a game.
Loads of hours means the person gave it a genuine chance and has merit for their poor review. Somebody playing for 30 minutes which is probably right after the character creation isn't. The only excuse is if the game flat out doesn't work and is constantly crashing. I haven't play it so I have no idea how it actually is.
There is always a goldilocks zone
The only way to win is not to play
But to review negatively, nonetheless
>people get gifted starfield for christmas
>they heard the negative things about it, so as they play they notice these more
>leaves a review with all the regurgitated talking points
It's not hard to figure out
OH NO -- ZE EBIL RUSSIAN BOTS SET UP US DE BOMB MAHN ! ! ! !
>The good part begins after 12 hours
*1000 hours
Starfield is bad and you should feel bad
Face it, the game is just boring.
Even Fallout 76 has a more interesting world to explore.
I wish Steam could do some changes to their review system
>Can't review a game if the game time is less than 1 hour
>Can no longer do "le funny" reviews
>Reviews can't be too short.
Get rid of the awards as well as those copy paste checklist reviews and then steam reviews can be talked about like they aren't just an extension of the shithole that is the steam forums.
>Get rid of the awards
Yes, was going to say that too.
if you seriously use steam other than for gaming or downloading workshop mods you seriously should be beheaded
imagine being so inept and braindead that you cannot express your feelings in actual words, so you resort to bringing your wojak cancer to other places.
To review a game on Steam, not only you have to buy the game, you also have to install it and play it for a short amount of time.

There is no way to automatically prevent "le funny" reviews.
Demanding an artificial minimum length on reviews is silly: "game is no longer developed, and does not start on Windows 7 and above" is a perfectly valid and useful review.
Like .2 hours which isn’t enough time to get to character creation
And I thought Bethesda intros were bad before. No wonder people are dropping it so fast. People don't play these games for 2 hours of linear bullshit
>takes over 15 minutes to get to character creation
this is a valid negative review, i would avoid a game based on this alone.
>Reviews can't be too short.
i saw a review on it today that just said "nah" so i don't think you're right about that.
i would like a filter for the trash joke reviews as those aren't very informative if my goal is to make a purchase.
anything goes on the starfield review section however because i pirated it and personally confirmed it's: nah.
>people buy game for Christmas
>people refund shit game they bought for Christmas
>OP doesn't think it's organic
first time?
>0.2 hours on record
That's 12 minutes. Barely enough to get through the character creator if the person was genuine in trying out the game
I don't doubt people being disappointed in the game. I doubt the ones with less than an hour on record are genuine.
I would also put in a bad review once it asked for pronouns
Why? The pronouns don't affect the gameplay. It takes 2 seconds to choose your pronoun and that's it.
anything that markets itself on a grand scale is subjective to time-based judication. if your ads don't hook me in time for the skip button to activate then your idea didn't work. i click the skip button. video games are the same thing. entire industry is so watered down and uninspired we can afford to do this. any idiot can throw money at assets for their shit idea and pump out a fricking mediocre game if it they ever bother finishing it and slopfield is what happens when you do that when your audience quite literally expected something higher than this level of effort for the world that you promised.
>>OP doesn't think it's organic
Not when the review says 0.2 hours of gametime.
Yeah, imagine.
>September
>Christmas
one of these things is not like the other
bloody benchods how can they review bomb? my brother sanjay work hard on the starfield sirs
>this is a raid
>not just a bunch of people with christmas money waiting to see if patches made it better a few months after an indisputably dogshit release that every single person that didn't have a mouthful of Todd's ballsac bagged on
To be this moronic is impressive
>customers need to just shut up and accept shit
It's multi-trillion now, that meme is not up to date for xbox game studios
REDEEM THE SAARFIELD BHENCHOD DALIT PROSTITUTE
Funny because troony gates 3 credits are full of madarchods and changs
troony Gate 3 has more personality, setup characters in it's first 30 minutes than the entirety of starjeet, seethe homosexual, next time make a better game you fricking hack
Yeah I gave it 10 hours before deciding it was a steaming pile of shit, uninstalling and leaving a negative review.
I wish I was one of these guys, I want my time back.
>muh snoys
Cause no Steam game has ever been review bombed before for any other reason. Fricking moron.
It is boring and tedious though, people are really fricking mad that they sacrificed a 10+ dev cycle on this flaming trash pile rather than giving us another Fallout or TES game, or even letting Obsidian get another crack at a spin off title
Probably is; they create fake accounts and bots in metacritic so they can put negative reviews in games they hate
It doesn't cost 70 fricking dollars to shitpost in metacritic. Also absolutely nobody ever in the history of the world has ever cared about user score on metacritic
post the ones that literally say they're review bombing
>surely it's the snoys!!!!!!
it's just fricking boring and bland, why can't you accept it? That being said it's nowhere near bad enough to be getting mostly negative. The people crying about it being the le shittiest game ever exaggerate just as much as the people who shill for it, it is the most 6/10 game made in the last decade
They bundled this shit with everything before release, CPU, GPU, laptops. Some of them probably feel scammed.
sure man, make sure to buy as many copies as you can to beat the shadowy cabal.
I'm buying an xbox & another copy of starfield to support bill gates battle against sony.
Xbox lost and is a collapsed brand.
>nooo how can people dislike the game i like must be a conspiracy!
now THIS is schizophrenia
the first review listed when you go to starfield reviews literally says "im review bombing this because frick bethesda"
your shrink literally told you to take your meds
>"im review bombing this because frick bethesda"
While our motivation may differ our end goal is the same.
>SNOYSNOYSNOY
2006 called, they want their consolegayging back.
If a game doesn't catch your interest 1 hour in then it's a bad game, go to sleep Starjeet shill
>why are there so many negative reviews
>december 25th
looks like a bunch of teens got it for christmas and were disappointed
or you know, the reviews saying they're review bombing
isn't steam supposed to remove negative reviews from review bombing?
?
Reminder that there is an organized shill psyop by snoys and BG3/Cyberpunk trannies to make you hate Starfield because it is pro-western and pro-Christianity.
it's just weird that steam would remove negative reviews for BG3 but not starfield
yeah i wonder how those negative reviews differ from each other
well starfield's "most helpful reviews" say "I'm reviewing this negatively to review bomb it"
so why isn't that a cause for deletion
because i ask again i wonder how those negative reviews differ from each other
im sure all the ones removed from bg3 were as tame as "im gonna review bomb lmao"
so why isn't steam deleting the negative starfield reviews again? like it does for every other game?
are you being dense on purpose
Pro-Christianity? The game is so toothless it can't take a stance in anything to any real extent.
>people are shitting on a bad game because my undiagnosed mental illness tells me it's a good game
there's a reason why Ganker is a laughing stock now
If Starfield is so good why hasn't anybody mentioned a potential Iconic scene from it? Bethesdaslop literally has been missing this since Fallout 4.
if objectively speaking i humor you with an actually serious response i think it would be picrel. it's literally the only thing i remember that has a sense of humor in it that isn't cringe, but it's also a kitboga joke and a meme in general so it's absolutely not original.
everything else in my screenshots folder is a bunch of absolutely embarrassing moments and frick you for making me dig through it again.
is the game full of marvel quips?
not necessarily, but the writing itself is extremely embarrassingly bad.

Who cares what it is? Does anyone even read Steam Reviews?

Unironic Starfield defenders should be curbstomped - in minecraft.

I'm not playing your game Todd
X4 autists, we're winning.
I assume this is about Starfield.
The game is on PC and on XBox. It's just not very good.
Is this some forced drama to keep the game relevant? Nobody is even talking about the game. Not even shitposting.
You also forgot that Bethesda has been releasing kinda shitty games for quite some time. Their last game was F76 which was a massive disaster
idk why people care so much about a game review score. don't people have better things to do, like playing games?
People tie their identity to liking or hating a game, so someone having the opposite opinion is a direct attack on their identity and thus them
>Everything I don't like is because of the Discord troony Boogieman
