years later we can all mostly agree this was better than TOTK right?
>The new open air style was completely new in 2017
>Survival focus was a lot more streamlined and made a more enjoyable experience for newcomers
>The series needed a fresh start at this point whereas it needed the classic dungeons in TOTK that never came
>The mystery surrounding the world made exploration 10x better
>To follow up the last point, the first playthrough of this game was the most fun I'd have had in a video game besides maybe my first playthrough of Final Fantasy VII, Elden Ring or other ambitious titles

TOTK is still a shitload of fun but yeah it's the worst 3D Zelda by a mile
BOTW is the 2nd worst 3D Zelda. Both are bottom 10 entries
Better than TotK? Yes. A good Zelda and what the series needed? No. The game drops off hard once you realize all it really is and you either slog through it and have it end horribly or drop it.
spbp
I think TOTK improves in a lot of major ways (namely the weapon system and how it changes combat) but BOTW was always going to be a richer experience because of TOTK reusing the map. Even ALBW pulled that move off better because classic Zelda was always more about the dungeons than the overworld, unlike BOTW/TOTK.
ALBW because it's the "same map" but in a completely new engine and released 20 years later.
I don't think that makes much of a difference to me. ALBW feels different from ALTTP, but it's still the same map. Even TOTK had more effort put into distinguishing the overworld with the islands. ALBW just shrugged and called the Dark World Lorule. It was my biggest issue when the gams was announced in 2012 or whatever and it remains so. The critical difference is that the painting mechanic and dungeons made it feel more distinct because they have a larger footprint on the experience.
I think the weapon system is still grossly unintuitive. In fact I find the greater encouragement to engage in combat despite combat being nearly identical to the previous game (ie, not very important for the most part) to be a huge mark against Tears and in favor of Breath.
No.
Your only point other than that TotK uses the same map as BotW is about mystery, which I agree BotW does better with. BotW's atmosphere and world (and story) are all better than TotK, but TotK is better in every other aspect. I enjoyed playing BotW much more than TotK, but TotK is still the better game objectively. It just didn't satisfy me because I already spent a lot of time in the world when I played BotW, and all the new additions were not nearly enough in my eyes. If I played TotK first I would have had a much better experience which is really annoying, Nintendo.
In all honesty, the way TOTK completely nuked the timeline and any semblance of possible lore discussion is what killed it for me.
Lore is for nerds
Can you explain what you mean? Asking in good faith. I've always felt Zelda lore was really rudimentary and only really peaked when Windwaker made that hard sequential connection to Ocarina. I think the story in TOTK is stupid and detached but I dont think it's any worse than the usual drek they assign to that front.
NTA but in these games they went full on scorched earth. Past Zelda games usually tried to have some semblance of connection to other Zelda games, but here they threw everything out. Total and complete retcons. They did what Skyward Sword did and turned it up to 11 (IE there are no longer any golden triad of goddesses, now Hylia is the only one). Even Ganon has been stripped of everything that made him familiar to fans of the series, since he barely has a connection to the gerudo, he's no longer connected to demise, he's no longer connected to ganondorf, Everything is a complete mess.
Normally we could still try and discuss lore prior to BOTW, but the modern fans have declared that all prior Zelda games are bad, and that BOTW and TOTK are the only ones allowed to exist. So no more discussion about OOT or LTTP.
It just seems to go out of its way to make it not fit in the Timeline or outright retcon the timeline they made. Now granted, I was never a huge timelinegay to begin with, but I generally found fan theories and lore discussing Zelda to be fun. The Timeline was the only real hard thing we have connecting other games (beyond direct sequels of course). Now that that has been thoroughly tossed out the window I dont really know what Zelda Lore to discuss with anons, or even really care. You may not feel the same but thats just me.
Totk's lore messed up the headcanons of lore theorists so they are saying that it ruined the timeline despite it being in line with what BOTW established.
If they let you at least skip the dumb lore, it wouldn't even be an issue. But nope, mandatory exposition everywhere before you get off their respective tutorials.
>b-but it's a small part of the game
I'd sooner step on a rusty nail than listen to Zelda prattle on for 0.00001 more seconds.
Wouldn't be a Zelda thread without you ACgay. You always brighten our day with your stupidity.
>you want the intro cutscene to be skippable? in a series touted for its gameplay? Heh you must be stupid
It's even more obnoxious than BOTW. BOTW didn't dump much exposition until you finished the relatively short tutorial. Most Zelda games at least have a coherent excuse plot, but TOTK doesn't even have that.
i still play botw and find it more fun
totk was a mistake
TOTK is just more fun to play imo, the weapon system got a lot better and even tho the depths and sky islands are sparse its still fun to explore and play around with them, also building shit is really fun for me
>You build shit to do nothing with fricking normie
i build shit to play with and have fun, fricking moron, i apologize you lack the imagination to be creative, maybe go boot up cod, seems more your speed
i criticized the game and said some of the content is sparse but still enjoyable, also the dungeons are better than botw, not really even something you can argue to the contrary
Would Breath of the Wild still lose to Baldur's Gate 3 and humiliate Nintendo?
Unironically no. BotW hype was absurdly strong.
See
Probably not, but it would have at least not have been horribly humiliated by Alan Wake 2.
Never played with Legos as a kid? You're probably 12, so what about Minecraft?
It's all the same thing. The building mechanic is THE core new feature of TotK to the point where I'm surprised it didn't show up in the Ganondorf fight. I'm not even that into it but it's still fun to mess around with, and if you love messing with it then TotK is going to feel like a much better game.
NTA but I play ~80% survival crafting games expressly for the building and TOTK does nothing for me on that front. I think a big part of it is the lack of persistence in TOTK. You can't build a house and your vehicles need to be rebuilt frequently using your resources.
Isn't there that one house in Hateno that you can sort of cobble together from ugly pods? It's a Far Cry from a better game like Minecraft or Terraria, though.
wow the quality of zelda threads has remained the same i see
Who are you autist? Why do you post this in these threads? What is your destiny?
I played BOTW too much and burnt myself out for TOTK. The world is different but the core gameplay is same enough.
Can I get a QRD on this Eric?
Anyways I enjoy Totk for what it is. It’s fun if you play it and don’t spend time looking shit up ruining the experience for yourself. The sky islands are fun to jump off of and the underworld is cool too. I like exploring the caves the best though.
Some schizo, just ignore him
basically exactly how i feel, it could have been better but i still like it a lot, very fun world to just play around in
Exploring the caves is great but I've already explored that landscape from my time in BotW. Trying to survey the sides of hills for caves to go into did not feel like organic like when I was doing that for shrines in BotW.
i never surveyed hills in totk and just found caves naturally
When exactly did this happen naturally to you? Because the ways I found when to travel when playing the game blind week 1 was either with a flying contraption I built or gliding down from towers or islands I had finished shrines on nearby. Neither of these is very conducive to finding caves, I was just flying right over them to wherever I was going.
just exploring in general lead me to a good deal of them, i never felt the need to specifically hunt them down as i was constantly stumbling upon them or something else
It sometimes felt like they were intentionally obscuring the entrance to the cave with the angles of the landscape, which I agree felt terribly inorganic to find.
If you don't suck off zelda, you're eric. Even if you liked the game. Also this spammer would rather talk about his boyfriend than actually discuss the game, as seen in a thread yesterday with 10s of deleted posts.
Honestly forgot about them and the bokoblin taloses. Wish their range was longer.
Eric is notorious shitposter who was mostly present during the Switch's release year and its following years where he was in every new Nintendo games' thread. Nowadays, he mostly reside in the famitsu sales thread or the Xenoblade threads(or at least someone with the same posting pattern).
As for the Erictroony guy, he's either a really dedicated falseflagger or just likely a schizofrenic who was mindbroken by the before mentioned Eric.
God who cares, I beat this like 8 years ago. I don't even remember 90% of it.
The roaming band of soldiers you could help fight monsters with was probably one of the best additions in this game, and its not much frankly.
To be honest, neither BOTW nor TOTK are impressive. They felt like they were chasing a fad, but didn't invest time into fleshing out any of their concepts. You cannot tell me, with a straight face, that almost 2000 koroks are good game design, or that they needed to further pad out the filler with addison signs, or shrines, or making most enemies extremely stupid and cheesable. It's just not fun when a bokoblin is so dumb that he'll drown himself in a lake to fight you, or accidentally set himself on fire. BOTW trivialized travel and revisiting old places with stupid fast travel, while TOTK made it even worse by just letting you build wacky meme machines that let you fly over everything at no cost. A hookshot's inclusion would somehow break the games, but magic wacky fire penis robots and gliders are fine?
I've honestly played better open world games. Ones that understood the importance of asking the player to adhere to progression, while still letting them experiment with their own playstyle.
The open world meme has made devs get too comfy with adding a frickload of collectibles for no decent reward. No unique permanent weapon, or new gameplay mechanic. Doing this shit gets you paraglider fabrics. Amazing.
The schizo anti-erichomosexual has done more damage to the image of zeldafans on Ganker than anything else
Just ignore it. It drives him nuts when you don’t feed into it.
I'm convinced it's a false flag at this point.
I kept posting on Ganker for years leading up to TOTK that I would love for them to do the light world/dark world theme in the game. It wouldve been so cool, seeing the depths just be an inverted Hyrule with no cool buildings or anything was a huge letdown.
This. Sometimes i don't want freedom. I want the game to give me a giant brick wall and say that I have to pass around it in a specific manner. If I could just make wacky meme machines to trivialize the whole affair, then what's even the point. I might as well play gmod.
confirmed. tiks of the toks lost.
I dropped Totk as soon as I got off the tutorial island. I say this as someone who loved Botw.
The DS games are underrated as hell I always say.
The only downside is that they didn’t add fishing.
Ummm, anon you can ultrahand together a device to catch fish in a river though, duh.
It's strange, one of my favorite open world games has had fishing for a decade now. Dunno why Nintendo refused to add it.
>STILL no underwater swimming
I don't understand what took them 6 years to make a sequel
It takes that long to make indie games from scratch
one of the weirdest threads ive ever seen on Ganker
It was about the time I was doing the quest by a stable that was throwing cuckoos into a pen that I remembered I did this 20 years ago in a better Zelda game and Nintendo will probably never make that type of Zelda game again.
On the plus side, there's so many cool and fun zelda romhacks that breathe life into Zelda. My favorites have to be the randomizers, especially the OOT/MM double randomizer. You ever try it?
Nah, where can I get these roms fren?
Romhacking.net has most of the hacks. Others you can look up on youtube. The randomizers have their own dedicated websites.
https://github.com/ZoeyZolotova/mm-rando
https://ootmm.com/
https://alttpr.com/en/randomizer
https://ootrandomizer.com/
Here you go friend.
>OOT/MM randomizer
????????????
Basically, it combines both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask into a single giant randomizer, and it spreads all of the items across both games. You can change between them by going to the happy mask shop in hyrule town market, or going into the clocktower. There's an insane amount of checks and balances to prevent softlocks, unless you disable them. It's reinvigorated my love of the games.
You'll enjoy them. Happy trails.
Thanks anon, I will check them out.
>Open air style
What the frick does this even mean?
Its a form of Airbending combat.
Nah only the story was better
Eric is so fricking based bros
This, idk who Eric is but im starting to think hes pretty based to make an anon this delusional.
erichad
achad
>Tutorial sky island is the same size as all the rest of the sky islands combined
Tears of the Kingdom has side quests, it has over 130 of them according to the game.
Most of them are just "give me 5 wolf pelt" tier though.
>The new open air style was completely new in 2017
It was already being forced into every IP for a decade and had been tiresome for at least five years. Zelda was just late to hop on the bandwagon.
BOTW and TOTK are equally bad because they're built on the same rotten foundation.
botw won more awards than totk so i say yes.
Yeah, who do you think is inflating that number you massive fricking moron?
Personally, out of all the divine beasts, this one was my favorite.
Is that from the Armoured Core series?
Yes.
Yeah I can just tell that Botw is going to be the one that's remembered for decades while Totk will be in its brother's shadow
BotW was Nintendo's first attempt at a modern open world game and they arguably made one of the best video games of all time.
Their 2nd attempt, TotK, shows Nintendo's steps to improve content, dungeons, combat, boss battles, emergent gameplay, exploration and rewards.
Things are looking good. We're approaching video game perfection here. I can't wait to see how Nintendo build on this.
>BotW was Nintendo's first attempt at a modern open world game and they arguably made one of the best video games of all time.
It's shit
>It's shit
Who are you trying to convince? Half a dozen anons on Ganker? How's that working out for you?
You forgot to call him Eric
The game is massively overrated and proclaimed to be the first of its kind in open world exploration, however every hardcore gamer knows this is bullshit and countless other open world games before it have done this and even had better exploration, the only thing they really invented was the physics interaction within the world, which most of come as tedious mechanic rather than fun, thinks like climbing wet hills.
Game world is empty, feels static and dead, looks generic, to consider this among the greatest is laughable, tendies believe that just because its an exclusive, if it was multiplatform nobody will shower it with underserved praise.
Game is overrated, has mediocre combat, shit dungeons, forgettable music, boring lifeless world, look generic, has an awful story and quest writing and generally is just middling across the board.
Tears of the Kingdom is hundered times better than Breath of the Wild, it actually exposes how shit and lackluster BOTW is.
Considering BOTW wasn't as impressive or innovative as its fans proclaim, then that makes it shit and obsolete.
There is no good reason to play BOTW over TOTK.
>BotW was Nintendo's first attempt at a modern open world game
Stop with this lie, botw would not exist if not for Xenoblade X
>and they arguably made one of the best video games of all time
What in particular makes good? Be specific. Every BotW thread I ask this question and none of you nintenbabies can answer. Please defend the exploration-combat-puzzle game with mediocre combat, bad puzzles, and almost nothing interesting to find. I'm begging you.
The reasoning they gave me is that the game supposed does all this stuff that no other game has ever done, and then did it together. Sort of a "jack of all trades" situation. Unfortunately BOTW doesn't master any of these elements, and neither does TOTK. What good is exploration if you can trivialize everything by building a wacky magic hoverbike? Why build vehicles for combat if bokoblins die almost pitifully easily?
I guess the real acclaim is that this is the first zelda game to do this, and it's the biggest map of all?
>the game supposably does all this stuff that no other game has ever done
I've heard game journos say shit like this, and it's so obviously not true it's hardly worth addressing. The only *arguably* innovative thing it did was make almost all of the content optional, which is more gimmicky than anything.
Despite what nintenbabies and journos would have you believe, it's just a Zelda reskin of concepts Bethesda, Mojang, Rockstar, Ubisoft, and many other developers had already popularized.
The idea of actually letting you break progression is kinda cool, as in actually letting you skip everything and just go right to ganon. Or letting you solve puzzles in a bunch of different ways. The only problem is that they don't follow through on it. At random times they'll just decide that you cannot solve a quest a certain way, and will erect a thousand magic, invisible forcefields to make you do it one specific way. So it can't even commit to its premise.
years later we can all mostly agree this was better than TOTK right?
absolutely not, TotK was shit too but it was an improvement from a 2/10 to a 3/10
>The new open air style was completely new in 2017
No it fricking wasn't. Ass creed and elder scrolls had already been doing it better for years.
>Survival focus was a lot more streamlined and made a more enjoyable experience for newcomers
"Survival" and "enjoyable experience for newcomers" do not belong in the same category, turning the game into a grinding hell only serves to turn newcomers away
>The series needed a fresh start at this point
Skyward Sword is one of the best games in the series. BotW is the worst entry in the series. The series needs a fresh start again since the open world slop titles ruined it.
>The mystery surrounding the world made exploration 10x better
Mysteries such as the nonexistent story and quests with pointless rewards made running from point A to B "better" by making it take 10x longer for no reason other than to waste the player's time
>To follow up the last point, the first playthrough of this game was the most fun I'd have had in a video game besides maybe my first playthrough of Final Fantasy VII, Elden Ring or other ambitious titles
You have played a total of 3 video games, congratulations anon.
Literally more real-estate than the entirety of Wind Waker.
For someone who doesn't give a shit can you explain what an Erictroony is?
Eric is a self-doxxed anti-Nintendo schizo who's been shitting up Nintendo threads for over a decade. Besides threads about Nintendo exclusives, you can also spot him in Famitsu and Monster Hunter threads.
TotK makes BotW feel like a rough first draft.
But it's very difficult to capture that mind-blowing feeling that BotW delivered.
Having said that, BotW's Hyrule is easily the best and most comfy fantasy world in any video game. I was happy to explore this world again for a new adventure in TotK.
>Daily thread screeching about BOTW/TOTK
>27 IPs, so the schizo OP is more than likely talking to itself
Have any other games buck broken a person as much as these two games?
NGL Pizza Tower had a more satisfying final boss.
BotW > Trail Makers > Scrap Mechanic > ToTK
Erictroony, you lost and got raped 😉
Erica, you lost 😉
>To the next one.
You're gonna waste more years of your seething about that too.
They probably put in more effort after Calamity Ganon was so disappointing.
Obviously, but Pizza Tower was the only good game in 2023.
Imagine if TOTK did something similar, with Link beating up the bosses and puppet Zelda with his bare hands, all while Song Of The Hero playef.
Erictroony, you lost and got raped 😉
L
Demon King?
Secret Stone?
I love Kass!
Why'd they Epstein him?
At launch 9/10, today 7/10
>they announce totk is re-using the same map
>this actually excites me
>totk will be the game they wanted to create originally
>there will be 7 traditional dungeons for sure
>it'll be a real zelda game
>no longer will the world feel empty
...
>game releases early via piracy
>the world is completely empty
>there are ZERO traditional dungeons
>the only new content is gmod building
>it's not a zelda game
Glad I didn't waste my money
Tell us what game you're playing.
You won't answer this.
NTA but I'm thinking of doing another playthrough of Terraria. 🙂
>NTA but I'm thinking of doing my first playthrough of Terraria. 🙂

>26 years of in game time
It's quite a fun game.
You forgot the underworld. You know the giant copy paste of the normal world but with inverted geography and fricking nothing down there to justify its existence.
Bravo Nintendo. Trillions Dollars Corporations btw. I think that instead of paying people to fill TOTK with content they'd rather pay shills to defend this trash and call you an "Eric" if you dare to criticize Bigtendo.
reddit of zelda: tears of the redditdom
>jimbo taking a break from shitting up ff threads
well at least you are right this time. broken clock or whatever. take my upvote, but we're still not friends.
Dumb rebirthgay.
fippybippy as usual
Of all the FPs I've seen this is definitely in the top 10 BP. Good job OP.
Keep up the assault discordsisters, let's make this post the keystone of our thread
The absolute state of nincels
>nincels
If you're going to call out someone, you better include your schizo tripgay butt buddy. Otherwise, you come off as biased or with an agenda.
the absolute state of nincels.
BOTW but with all the best parts of TOTK added in, would be a true game of the decade.
So much for going to the gym huh?
See you in 10 minutes when you have to bump your dead thread again.
Haven't played TotK but God help us all if BotW was better. That game wasn't great and I saw no reason to spend $70 on what looked like more of the same.
>because steam does never show playtime like that.
The youtube discussion around this game kinda shows not alot of people really loved it but had to be kind to the Nintendo bonus
Seriously, go look of TOTK videos on Youtube right now. Every single video has a title like "disappointing masterpiece" or " I loved but frustrated me to no end" or something equivalent. People desperately want to critique this game but theres such a heavy emphasis on being positive to Nintendo games no one will do it.
It's the Twilight Princess 8.8 fiasco all over again. If you don't give certain brands outstanding praise, then you'll be eaten alive by the fandom. This never happens with sony or Microsoft games, since they'll just directly blacklist you and never give you bribes or financial incentives again. Nintendo made the interesting choice of outsourcing their game journo intimidation to the fans.
Thank you jannies for keeping the thread alive so you can delete it when it's about to hit bump limit again
>daily zelda discord thread
>daily elden ring discord thread
do these homosexuals not get bored of doing this every day?
Calamity Ganon literally doesn't speak that much. I can't even remember if he has any lines. Meanwhile Bara Ganon just immediately goes into mustache twirling villain territory. The gerudo are barely even a fart in the background.
Not that you Ganker lot care for honest opinions, but I like both. BoTW is awesome, and ToTK is a nice expansion to it. The trouble with both is, at first you're underpowered, and you get so much choice in what to do. It can be daunting. And as you progress, you get more hearts, stamina, and your game prowess improve. (as reward). But I feel both games don't make it hard enough as you progress, only easier, with oyur hears, stamina and general knowlegde, which I suppose is a product of the open world and, well, just reward for getting further, but in both games, the hardest part, seems to be the start. Once you get going... you get going.
And that IS rewarding, so not nessicarily all bad. Both ARE brilliant (any1 refuting this is a moron not understanding master game design and should not be taking serious IMHO, no offense, even if you do not like it, you must be able to see the god-damn-brilliance of the game design aspect, if not, that really, really is on you, you are the moronic one) . My biggest gripe, it only gets (mostly) easier after the get go, is more evident with ToTK, so I like BoTW more. They are both awesome games though,
>a game not having an upward challenging curve is "master game design"
No anon, that's called bad game design. A Mario game where level 8-4 is easier than level 1-1 would rightfully be touted as a bad game.
I think totk improves on lots of elements of botw individually, but it feels more broken and lacking in cohesion as a game overall.
I'm not sure which I view as a better game, they're unfortunately similar enough that I think one existing takes away from the other.
I certainly remember and care about far more from TotK than BotW, but I didn't spend as much time with it.
I like nu-zelda but I still don't like the durability system. what's wrong with just making the weapons permanent?
TotK is a better game overall, but BotW came out at the perfect time to be truly revolutionary.
Didn't you get banned?
>no, actually yes
Why is he so moronic? I know he's a phoneposter so I can't expect much but damn.
>This whole fricking thread
That's what happens when bigtendo manchildren are stuck with a fisher price tablet while the rest of the industry goes on
>bigtendo manchildren are stuck with a fisher price tablet while the rest of the industry goes on
They're not the ones making the same threads for 8 years though
The current janny would rather skin its whole family alive rather than delete this thread.
I won. Tears of the Kingdom is a shitty game
No, it's a fine game
You've been seething for 8+ years. Especially if we take you getting mad at XB1 into account. Then it's been 12 years.
>You've been seething for 8+ years. Especially if we take you getting mad at XB1 into account. Then it's been 12 years.
Weird projection.
I like the switch games and Xenoblade so obviously not. Stay mad at anonymous gays online, tho.
Never noticed it, but it's bad that they still don't utilize all 4 shoulder buttons in the menu.
>Never noticed it
just looked it up there are tons of threads on reddit about it and i also found the reason for the slow down it's to prevent glitches and exploits
>The idea of this being by design, to reduce glitches that were present in BOTW and made possible with the fast switching
What’s wrong? Banned?
No. Botw only gets credit for changing the industry. Totk is straight upgrade in most ways and has way more cool sidequests and npcs to interact with. Much better main quest too. Dozens of things you do are first for zelda altogether.
>much better main quest
How? Every NPC is so obnoxious that you want to beat them over the head with a bokoblin club with nails glued to it. Zelda herself being the worst.
That's your problem not mine. Game has over 100 hours of great gameplay and unique moments. If you can't withstand a 2 minute scene of an npc explaining why goron mountain is fricked so you can go fix the problem then idk what to tell you. Maybe checkers is more your speed. No cutscenes there.
You're the one trying to argue that TOTK and BOTW are objectively perfect masterpieces, and I'm sitting here wondering why it has more problems than a snoy movie. Once again, despite claiming to be open world, the game does not allow you to do anything unless you get permission from NPCs.
>can't enter divine beasts without NPCs giving you permission
>can't enter the "dungeons" without NPCs being stapled to you
>can't even leave the tutorial islands unless you get permission
For a game that flaunts being open and free, it loves restricting you for no reason.
Like the thread the other day where your shitposts vs. normal posts were 4:1? (and then got deleted lmao)

The ones where I didn't get banned once?
why is the UI so much slower in tears of the kingdom than breath of the wild? the quick weapon menu has this weird second slow down before close it and i hate it

Nice. Twilight Princess and OoT are still the best tho
>eric banned again

you love to see it
Not the only one. The bigger btfo was his enemy. Especially considering eric got off scott free last night while the zelda bro got banned twice.
I honestly thought those posts were eric as well, samegayging. Interesting that it really is a different anon intentionally feeding eric posts.
Been that way for over a year now. Like I said, the "pii u" spammer was an example of how NOT to act, but multiple nintendo fans (mainly just salesgays who just play zelda/mario/xeno, other series are safe from their autism) followed in his footsteps.
consolewar homosexualry is a blight. As someone that owns multiple platforms (everything besides xbox), I simply don't get the point.
It does suck. Console wars really ruin any thread they sneak into. I honestly just want to discuss where Zelda can do next.
Nah. He’s too stupid to unban himself. The guy doing “Eric troony” is gone
I’m not banned though
best part is none of them are on playstation

The last Zelda I played was for n64. I remeber it had a story, I think. And you ran around. And got swords. And arrows. What's wrong with that?
I'd play these on my handheld but do NOT frick with that emulator nerd programming shit. Are they on gamepass or steam?
It's a baby's game?
