Well in that case he should say so because this doesn't make sense. The first Pandemonium was quite a hit and critically well recieved so it makes sense to have the recognizable characters on the cover. Plus this is Tomb Raider era so having the hot chick on the cover is a selling point. That's two reasons why yes, this cover will indeed sell the game.

Honestly Pandemoium, even the original, was actually overrated at the time. Klonoa / Tomba / Croc were all far superior games while Pandemoium was mostly a fairly generic 2D but not quite 3D platformer with nothing particularly notable about it.

I unironically liked the art. It was 90s 'tude but without stupid mascot animals. The game was so-so though.
The very fact that this is a sequel shows that the original game sold enough, so you're stupid.

2 sold worse, didn't even a Steam port, those characters don't look like in 1 and they look horrible, so does that background and the title font
