i got 10 copies of 3d mario all stars thinking i can sell those for profit. sadly they still sell those in stores. might have to wait longer than i thought
Literally me
I'll keep increasing my literature collection that is immune to disc and cartridge rot and keep pirating switch games while tendies pay for my copies
I literally have my grandparent's book shelf and shit still looks pristine
And even then, yellow pages have that cool vintage look while cartridges straight up don't work
My Pokemon yellow cartridge takes like 10 tries to boot up correctly. Blowing only ruins the cartridge further. My GBA+NDS games are somehow worse too. That's infinitely worse than book rot.
>Books will yellow and mold with age no matter what you do. You ever seen your grandparents library shelf?
What the frick? I own many books that are 100+ years old and still in perfectly readable condition.
>buy game for $60+$30 day 1 DLC code >servers die, DLC is now useless >sell it at gamestop >That will be $0.01 and no tip
Imagine collecting shit to sell it later
I own absolutely 0 switch games. Bought the system on sale, pirated everything, played as much as I wanted and sold the system second hand for more than I paid for it because it was the first model.

Based; collecting is a mental illness. I've never met anyone interesting who owns a collection of anything. All the interesting people are actually out engaging with their subject of interest
When the frick did "buying video games" suddenly become "collecting?" Why is actually fricking owning what you purchase suddenly treated as some autistic hobby?
Do you go to the grocery store to "collect" food you fricking moronic Black folk? Holy shit
>gaming is instant gratification >NEED MORE GRATIFICATION >console itself rewards you with notifications even more frequently
achievements are beyond artificial, soulless and unnecessary. They dont have any impact on the game, why would anyone think they are anything more than non-important? homosexual
I’ve done all sorts of non intuitive tasks in games that increase my enjoyment of them because they’re listed as achievements. Some are useful in a way to track if you’ve done/found all of x. Its also interesting to see if only 20% of the people who own the game finished it, or did some other task. Your knee jerk reaction just outs you as a nintendummie achievelet.
the only switch game I've collected is the collectors edition of SMT V and even then I just emulated it on yuzu. theres no point collecting switch games
Yes, of course. I buy physical whenever possible as I hate digital only releases. As a matter of fact, chances are I won't pick up your game at all if it's only available digitally, unless I can get it for pennies.
i think this is about seventy games, maybe a bit more
i've beaten all but ten of them
i like having my own opinions on games rather than downloading them from youtubers like a lot of people seem to do nowadays
Of course, my hard copy of botw is gonna sell for hundreds in a few decades. I don't even own a switch
A brand new Wii U is like $700. Rettbone is eating.
why did nintendo frick these scalpers so hard by making botw obsolete with totk?
i can buy botw for less than 20$ nowadays
Yes I just collect the games I play and enjoy.
collecting plastic boxes is for children, real men collect books
Literally me
I'll keep increasing my literature collection that is immune to disc and cartridge rot and keep pirating switch games while tendies pay for my copies
Books will yellow and mold with age no matter what you do. You ever seen your grandparents library shelf?
I just sold my switch and the games I bought
>yellowing books
SOVL

Hope you have fun with Nintendo's games.
>go to store
>see 150 year old book
>'thats 1 euro 50 please'
Yeah m8, great investment

No because i'm not a console goy
i don't collect them per se but i do buy and keep games i play or intend to actually play
I own absolutely 0 switch games. Bought the system on sale, pirated everything, played as much as I wanted and sold the system second hand for more than I paid for it because it was the first model.

Those carts wont' last. Look it up. They're made to die. Your """""""investment"""""""""" is worthless.
Black person I have DS games from 2004 that still work
And? DS games are not Switch games.
Like they said, look into the subject before talking about it.
Worse than collecting Funkos.
Im collecting dicks up my ass homosexual
It's missing all the moronicly sized collectors editions
Why does EU get physical games while the US has to resort to play asia and the US eshop to buy a lot of the lesser known tittles.
on my hard drive to emulate them yes
>collecting
lol nah, I gave that autism up years ago. I still mostly buy physical where I can, and then I sell it on ebay when I finish it.
Based; collecting is a mental illness. I've never met anyone interesting who owns a collection of anything. All the interesting people are actually out engaging with their subject of interest
Yes.
Not really.
>13 physical
>120+ digital

Do you go to the grocery store to "collect" food you fricking moronic Black folk? Holy shit
>He doesn't have a food collection
>food analogy
the fact that he doesnt play any of those video games and just buys them to "collect" them make it autistic
Where did OP say that she doesn't play any of the games she collects?
I asked his mom after I fricked his ass
I do, in fact, collect them, but only good ones. How can you tell?
Nintendo doesn't have an achievement system so it makes no difference whether I play officially or emulated, so no I don't bother
Who the frick cares about achievements anyway?
I like to 100% games I like
Nintendo doesn’t even do trophies? What a lazy bunch of sad sacks.
>gaming is instant gratification
>NEED MORE GRATIFICATION
>console itself rewards you with notifications even more frequently
achievements are beyond artificial, soulless and unnecessary. They dont have any impact on the game, why would anyone think they are anything more than non-important? homosexual
without achievements, there's no proof of anybody actually playing the game
Achievements are worthless on consoles that are hacked. There's a reason no one gave a frick about Steam Achievements the day they came out.
Don't care, I like looking at my achievements and see the dates and games and the shit I 100%'d and etc
Don't care if other homosexuals don't see it
Akshually, you can see hours in main menu. Unless someone turns on a game and leaves it open.
I bought FF8 again, but this time for Series S, and my goal is to try to beat it without earning
>this
achievement.

>nothing but red spines with white text for everything that's not a box/steelbook
Hate this shit. Complete eye-sore.
i was tempted to start doing it, but the cases are all fricking empty with no manuals so i went back to collecting ps1 games.
There are a bunch of games in my collection that came with manuals and/or other goodies.
negligible amounts
Why yes, I have plenty of .nsp and .xci files on my SSD. Wait, you're not playing on a 7 year old tablet are you?
Yes, of course. I buy physical whenever possible as I hate digital only releases. As a matter of fact, chances are I won't pick up your game at all if it's only available digitally, unless I can get it for pennies.
Yeah I have a couple gb on xci files
i think this is about seventy games, maybe a bit more
i've beaten all but ten of them

Looks gay as frick
>alphabetical but not accurate
>dragon quest builders
>dr. kawashima's brain training
>dragon quest XI
Come on, anon..
No, I am not.
I'd rather collect funkopops or nendoroids (same thing)
Go for what you like.
Going to sell the blizzard stuff.
That's a pretty b***hin' collection, anon.
Sure
