GNB is pretty busy so you have a lot of your weave space taken by your rotation. The people b***hing can't plan their mitigations ahead and find themselves unable to weave both their mitigations and damage rotation.

There isn't a single shown tribe that actually follows that rule since it's grossly moronic. Miqo'te are even noted in-game for being the race quickest to outright abandon their racial culture on immigration to and integration into Eorzea.
Botht he M tribe and the U tribe which are the two tribes we get to see in the game do though. In the U tribe the Nunh is that retired guy from the Company of Heroes, and in the M tribe it's M'naago's father. They're both the only male cats in those tribes (plus M'zhet who is kind of orbiting the M tribe training to defeat their Nunh).
The ones who don't follow that rule are the seekers who don't live by the tribal system and just adapted to "normal" society, which is obviously the vast majority of the ones we meet including Y'shtola and G'raha.

It's a stale meme from immediately after the PLD rework took place and it revolves around Paladin popping a damage self-buff and then dumping OGCD abilities + Confiteor combo, and Goring Blade. Don't think too hard about it,especially don't think about how "pop damage ability, dump all skills" applies to most jobs.

The entire game is fully open world except for a very few instances, the world is huge and filled with stuff and feels really alive. You can nearly interact with every NPC and most of them has a little backstory and lore on their own. Mos of the trees, rocks, flowers and such you see in the world is intractable and serves a purpose, most of the world stays relevant throughout the game.
Not him but while I enjoy the world itself, seeing other players in it is really jarring because a majority of them use cash shop outfits that don't look as though they belong in the world. It's like the cash shop design team was told to make outfits without being told what the world they were making it for was like beyond just "fantasy".
Have you noticed that the gear is mostly designed to appeal to women? even tome and raid gear, there is no ugly, plate, giant pauldron or raw thing that usually is part of mmos, even supposedly savage style ooga booga gear like War artefact sets are still soft and smooth.
The devs realized that girls and dudes who pretend to be girl are a good niche to milk, hence why the cash shop is mostly generic urban gear.

I played a roegadyn for a very long time and the only two altercations I had were a midlander hyur on Louisoix asking me to rape her in Rhalgr's Reach while I was just trying to get some fricking tomestone gear, and a guy in a Hard Gay cosplay making a pass at me ironically while waiting for a FATE to pop in Eureka. Both these times were years ago and I've played on Crystal for most of the time since, never got weird /tells as a roegadyn and I don't now as a highlander.

Hroths only blindly attach to roes if you are half naked/ half gay stuff in your info. Just don't dress that way and you will be fine I promise (unless you're in something like Faerie then you did it to yourself).
The only ones who get random whispers, looks and interactions from hroths are other hroths. Of course not dressing like a bawd decreases it by 10% but you're still in the 80% range.
Oh and advice for getting costumes together as a Roegadyn:

6.1 actually felt like a real RPG. I was surprised on how different the scenes were depending on your choice and how much character interactions they allowed with Y'shtola, Estinien and G'raha. I would have liked if we kept doing that instead of the void plot.

Yeah, but we don't need to convince EVERY voidsent. We just need to convince Golbez, who is the only one that's actually doing stuff that threatens the Source. Once the Source isn't under attack we're suddenly no longer in a hurry and can just work out things with care. Golbez would obviously not collaborate immediately and would keep Azdaja as reassurance, but nothing says once we've proved we can fix things (we did fix Zero after all) that he wouldn't change his tune and help us after freeing her.

Seraph Blade is no fricking joke with a proper kit for it, more-so when paired with a SCH for double-light. RDM absolutely needs to be able to deal damage on the hardest content in the game to make ends meet.

RDM is 'ok' in a melee oriented setup, but everything dies so fricking fast with the SCH+BLM (or double-SCH) settup that debuffs doesn't matter. People bring a GEO instead.
The superboss I forget the setup for other than BLU tank cheese is still the strat. There's still no real reason to waste a run on doing it when you can bang out ABC/EFG bosses in one run instead for more galli.
I believe you need to get any other class to lvl 50 and then you can go "pick up" RDM.
also the advice I give everyone is to look up how to get ninja, it's a great beginner class, you can pick it up at lvl 1 from any job that starts in Limsa Lominsa and it's one of the few jobs that feels fun while leveling, some other jobs feel limp until lvl 60-90.

Feels like a lot of people that dislike G'raha were fine with him as the Exarch. I personally think he should have just died not only because it would prevent the character suicide but also because almost no one dies anymore. Ultima Thule was an absolute shitshow in part due to that.

Except the Garlemald expansion got canned halfway through production. So they went through all of that trouble to drag G'raha's corpse out of the tower on the source, with his memories from the first, so he can be a bench warmer with zero relevance or involvement with the plot.

XI's team should have been shot for both cancelling the beta UI which had a hotbar in addition to the legacy ctrl/alt macro bar, and also never getting the game and their dev toolkit off of DX8.1.
I use so many fricking macros that hotbars wouldn't have helped me much in an official capacity other than putting my common actions there so I can use the macros for more niche shit like encounter-specific buffs/nukes.

What can increase your odds is to be a highly coveted archtype. A catgirl is common enough to not necessarily make people super thirsty. But judging from the roe's experience and my own if you are an archtype like:

A part of me is surprised they didn't hit it up sooner, but a major part of that was lack of easy access to it. WOW modding was always much tougher and to say nothing of the models being dogshit painted on half the time. Between it and XIV I can see how XIV would attract your normalgay women much more easily. Making a cute avatar and showing it off is just another step of social media preening, and it's an even easier one as you don't have to get dressed up for it. The only handicap for XIV for these normalgays is the slightly complicated process of modding, but shit like the carrd explaining it makes it easier.

The ones where Characters Are Actually Doing Something have better cinematography but even then your character tends to stand around with his thumb in his ass for the same reasons he does in XIV
Like XI, 1.0 had few higher budget cutscenes and that was it, since its MSQ equivalent wasn't 200 fricking fetch quests, but rather 10-15ish.

The way they were just silly little chess clunkers made the body horror hit me a bit less hard. It's something they did really hardcore with blasphemies and sineaters (tesleen and all) and then fumbled elsewhere. By all measure we should have been horrified by the ishgardians able to turn (permanently) into a dragon but instead it never really sat home until after sin eaters.
That's the loss of 6.0 and 7.0 being what we got with 6.0. Unless they really do a great job with a new narrative in 7.0 it'll feel like a mistake to have shrunk it all together. I'm not even a garlean simp it is just that it had very little weight. The way they got bushwhacked so terribly out of our own hands made it more of a pathetic clean up operation and one in which my main feeling was

Inherent to their own limitations of wanting every XIV expac to have 6 field zones, 1 town + 1 "endgame" hub, and 6-7 MSQ dungeons. You try writing a decent scenario around that. The reason ShB worked was because they didn't have a split-focus like both SB & EW.
