If you do choose to recruit him:
He proves his usefulness by being a skilled thief, merchant, and in general streetsmarts. He also is skilled with multiple weapons and fills in in combat where the rest of the party lacks, though does need healing quite a bit. When thing you notice is that his conversations do eventually tend to revert back to a select few topics, one of these being underwear and not having appropriate boundaries with that topic. He has asked to see what kind you wear and when you mention how that makes you uncomfortable he becomes apologetic and gives you a pendant of +1 dex and swears not to ask again. Occasionally you'll see him rummage through his backpack and look around the room, then put it away quickly. Other than this he is a friendly and trustworthy party member.
