>play game >accidently hit shutdown
Yeah that's why. Imagine that shit alt-tabbing or shutting down.
It's good for power users but not for gamers.
A dedicated shutdown bind is moronic though.
Also I use those buttons for binds in-game...
I fricked up my G-Shift binding by assign a default action to left-click rendering G-Shift useless because i cant figure out a way to drag around the G-Shift menu or delete the action since it is a default action
>open file explorer
Windows key + E >switch between apps
Alt + Tab or Control + Tab for focused apps >volume down
I have a DAC/AMP but also the keyboard has a volume wheel >open search
Start menu? Press Windows Key >shutdown
For what purpose?
Just 2 clicks anyway or if you want to be extra cool, do in CMD 'shutdown -s -t 0'
My mouse (sensei ten) has 2 side buttons on each side, top left I bound to closing the active tab, bottom left to switching windows, top right for switching active tabs, and bottom right for closing the active window. I also rebound the dpi button to instead switch between configurations like for individual games
1. I use linux, mac, and windows and my muscle memory for the most commonly used shortcuts stays exactly the same.
2. I rarely have my left hand on the keyboard unless I'm actively typing.
>why would I need to restart
Shit starts fricking up after a while. For basic use after about 25 days of "uptime" (check task manager). But for gaming you want to restart it every day.
G hub is shovelware, uninstalled it and just installed logitech gaming software, so much faster and easier to use its insane
I bind the side buttons 1,2,3 a top forward most button to 4 and the other 5. Imagine being the morons taking fingers out of wasd to change weapons
Why the hell would you bind shutdown
Why the frick not
feds
Wouldn't it be a wipe hard drive command then?
Holy shit, thank Christ I'll never be this moronic.

Yeah sure
I leave those two side buttons unbound because they're so easy to accidentally press when lifting your mouse.
This has to be a troll. Binding shut down to your dpi button lmao
Mostly for browsing, can't be arsed to switch profiles. F5 happens to be both refresh and quicksave, though, so I use it for games too.
No, I use those buttons for in-game binds.
Bind your gshift button to ctrl

My left hand is not on the keyboard 24/7
Where is it then?

>not automatically detect gaming programs
lel
I haven't even calibrated my monitor yet
I bought a MMO mouse specifically for this purpose.
What for though? There are already shortcuts built into Windows via the keyboard.

2. I rarely have my left hand on the keyboard unless I'm actively typing.
>linux
so you don't game then
Why would you think that?
wait is that a light wait mouse with a tilting wheel? where do i find that?
It's not that light and the software is total garbage, would not recommend. Steelseries Aerox 9 wireless.
>wireless
oh never mind
>the software is total garbage
They all suck in my experience. The least bad one is Logitech's. Their old software was the best though.
Dude this mouse is almost perfect and very lightweight but where the FRICK is thumb rest?
My mouse has 2 side buttons and a scroll click, just as God intended.
god cannot intend
>Volume Down
>shutdown
The ultimate coomer device.
Having Esc and Enter on the mouse is really nice, especially for in-game menus.
thx i learnt something
>noobs having already set keyboard binds on their mouse buttons instead of actual in-game binds
lol
lmao even
I have game specific profile tho poorgay
I use thumb buttons for copy-paste. Makes it faster to shitpost and do scanlations
who the frick uses shutdown in 2023 pepega
at least use shortcuts that actually save time, none of these save seconds
you do know the bog standard windows shut down is garbage right?
sorry bud i sleep my computer in 2023, i wasn't aware i'm living in 2002
>sleep when you own an SSD
why? it takes actually seconds to boot up
why not? zero negatives
why would I need to restart? you think a computer gets bogged down that quick? do you have a shitty old pentium poor?
because windows is notoriously garbage for sleep
it wakes up for no reason and i am sure i disable mouse movement awake in device control
fine for me. it's pedantic with some shit but turn that stuff off and it's all good
and you'll stay poor, poorgay
it could be your network driver, type 'powercfg -lastwake' in cmd when it turns itself on again and you can see what woke the pc
shit, its my ethernet connection

Kek. Do you at least restart every day? Imagine gaming on that.
yeah I have this mouse and I love the audio controls
a lot of people have that mous its probably the most popular gaming mouse ever
Enjoy your double clicks.
i have owned three of these and none of them where retired due to double clicking
Sure troon
I have owned 2. Both had rusting scrollwheels and double clicked
I have owned it for almost 7 years now and its still fine
