>trying to interact with a chink
anon, you have a good heart for trying but you have to go into those situations with a backup plan because there is a very high likelihood they will just use you

doesnt apply only to video games but real life as well
i lost a level 24 character because i decided, hung over, to quickly help a random guy out with a quest, and he pulled like 6 mobs inexplicably and got us both killed
When I played FFXIV you couldn’t even do that - buffs were for party members only. It really kills the mood for me. I grew up on Asherons Call, buffing the ever loving shit out if a newbie is what I live for.
>playing P99 for the first time >a dwarf hails me from behind >turn around >he gives me a buff that makes me run faster >thank him and run fast with him
I appreciate that little guy.
>See two players struggling with a quest mob >Healbot them through it >They say thanks >Never see them again
I miss the days dumb shit like this was possible.
Yes, I tell them not to play this shitty game.
thats a screenshot from WoW not Final Fantasy XIV
Holy obsessed
I tell people not to play either.
He might lose out on xp if I help so no.
only if its a tauren
>see a chinese player in trouble and help out
>i pull the mobs onto me
>he heals to full and leaves
>i die

Look at it as a cosmic punishment for being an alcoholic loser
Only if it's a girl.
>pass player on road
>buff
🙂
Same
Or I'll help out if a guy got jumped by a mob respawning on top of them
>he does the thank you jump

I always feel bad playing a class without a targeted buff because it feels strange not to immediately buff anybody I cross paths with.
Whenever I play shaman in wow I always go out of my way to put water breathing on as many people as possible any time I have fish scales on me.

This literally happened to me a few days ago.
Just play any MMO with at least some difficulty, you dumb poseur.
i do experience this in classic wow sometimes but only because some classes struggle sometimes
Back then you could actually build a reputation
If the game isn't designed like shit, helping your teammates succeed is a goal you would also aim towards
I used to play human paladin on private servers and went out of my way to revive and bless random people in the wilds.
