I agree, I'm so fricking sick of Baldur's Gate 3. turn based RPGs are often held up as "the best ever", and Baldur's Gate 3 has plastered this board. Oh cool, yet another turn based RPG game that just looks and feels like a copy of every other turn based RPG game. I don't get the hype for these over games with new and interesting mechanics like Phantom Liberty, the fact that Ganker pretends Phantom Liberty is a bad game is proof that this board doesn't really care about videogames anymore.

Baldur's Gate 3 looks exactly like every other turn based RPG game. Meanwhile, Phantom Liberty is:
    >Full of content
    >No DLC or MTX, a finished product from day 1
    >More weapons, build options and personalization than ever before
    >More enemy variety than pretty much every game in the series, makes the previous game look like a prototype in comparison
    >Loads of amazing bosses and mini bosses, some secret and plenty in sidequests
    >Sidequests have been fixed, it's no longer just doing what some ghost tells you, now most are almost just as good as main story content
    >You get to explore every realm, the world feels more alive than ever, no longer does the game feels like roaming a desolated wasteland Shadow of the Colossus style thanks to plenty of NPCs.
    >New Game+ will be added to the game soon enough to have even more fun.
Overall an impressive feat and when anyone expresses love for it, you homosexuals rip on them.

From a game design perspective, Turn based RPG games just feel lazy to me, reused assets, reused mechanics, it really doesn't offer anything new and im not sure if i should laugh at those thoundans of players people who bought this absolute garbage of a game or sad because that many people bought this absolute garbage of a game.

So, they finally added multiple starting classes and make them actually stick for the rest of the game?

yeah they also made your life paths matter for more than 5 minutes. I feel like I have to point out this is sarcasm.

I agree, cyberpunk is a pretty rad game and is unfortunately sitting in the shadow of a dogshit launch, but even i think you sound like an AI shill.

This is at least the 3rd time they reportedly fixed the game for real.

Yep, it's time to admit the CDPR won.
    Cyberpunk won.
    Ganker lost.

    >the game we dreamed of
So you're telling me Cyberpunk is now a complex FPS-RPG that's build on the original Cyberpunk TTRPG ruleset with lots of player freedom that can result in branching story paths with unique missions set in a dark cyberpunk city rather than GTA with a coat of paint?

If everyone is playing it then that means I'm playing it so you don't need to tell me to play it, don't be so dumb next time

The thing about 1 is that it can't be credited at all to cdpr. The good and fun parts of the world building are all lifted from the original tabletop lmao.

Same here. Odd thing is, I didn't get any bugs playing it a few months ago, and I kind of felt left out. At least now I'm in at the ground floor of their latest dumpster fire.

Can't wait for word of how fricking awful the game is again to get out, now that people have access to it and not just lying journos
