Was this a recurring issue with Wario games? I remember a friend had Wario for gba and his game never saved. Also my cousin had this game for the gamecube and funny enough, a disc game with no battery soldered on for memory, in other words a game that saves through memory card also didn't want to save, no matter if it was his memory card, my memory card or another gamecube. I seriously never wanted to touch either game because of this issue.
I can say with utmost certainty that only a couple dozen people played Wario Land 4 before playing Pizza Tower, the game that's entire marketing campaign was about being an indie Wario game. I am one such person.

No I'm just saying how the hell am I not getting a game saved in my memory card from a disc when they're not gba cartridges that have batteries soldered on them. So I wouldn't be surprised more if a gba game had this issue but a gamecube game and also the fact both were wario games was a huge coincidence for me to not bother playing them.
>a disc game with no battery soldered on for memory
Okay you lost me. I have never heard of a gamecube disc having a battery. Pokemon, sure. but that just sounds ridiculous.
Not only did I play and beat it a few times, I find myself frequently humming a couple songs from the soundtrack.
First is the first level theme, second is the annoying pause menu music
I played the shit out of this game as a kid, I must have played through it at least 6 times. Recently bought a japanese copy because the final boss is better and the cover art is really cool. Frick the microgame garbage, I want a Wario world 2
I sold it for 100 bucks to pay rent and I kind of regret it but only because it's so uncommon. It was an incredibly mediocre, insultingly short game. It was really satisfying to smack the shit out of bad guys though.
I bought it in the launch month for the full $60
I wasn't disappointed but it was severely short and we got fricked on the final boss. Desperately needs a proper sequel hopefully with co-op because Nintendo really hasn't ever had a brawler franchise.
I have actually. It is based and I want a sequel.
It was really mediocre. Good enough to finish it, but wouldn't recommend.
I have. I didn't really like it though.
Correct. I only seen gameplays as a kid on CHEAT Feat. Kristin Holt.

I remember a kid having wario land 4 when I was in like kindergarten

He meant the memory card is separate from the disc.
Clown around boss had good music
Repetitive but Wario is very fun to control
I played it and I own it. It needed two more worlds and a bonus world for 100% everything as well as a sequel.
I played and beat it before most of this board's users were even born.
I did and it was crap so I stopped
I like the Wario Lands but this got too repetitive for me too quickly. I'll give it another shot eventually though
Oh, and Japan getting a much better final boss fight sucked too.
I played this the year it was released. I have a copy of this game sitting on my bookshelf right now. I've even streamed it before.
>WOW!
Yes I have and we need more like it instead of Warioware garbage

I 100% it
This game has like three decent levels near the end and otherwise kind of sucks ass.
