I don't fricking play home console games on the go or in public. No, it's not about how people around me would perceive me or other insecure shit, I just don't see any fun in booting up fricking Doom in a packed bus, shoot things for 15 minutes, advance 0.15% through the campaign and go to school/work or whatever. In comparison, doing a Layton puzzle and moving on makes much more sense.

Tabletop games belong on the table, home console games belong in the home, collectible card games belong in the trash and etc.

I'm waiting for the Aya Neo Air Plus.
i3-1215u is pretty great for a $299 price tag.
Good CPU for emulation and it'll play older AAA games.

I am not too worried, i3-1215u is a 2022 mobile CPU that can handle quite a bit. It's not future proof but the games I play tend to be more low end to mid range. There is also a 16gb ram option to.

I should add that the Aya Air 5560u has a lot of video's of gameplay on their YouTube page.

No western reviewers have one yet and you need the Pro model ($650) with the 38wh battery if you want reasonable battery life, the standard comes with a 28wh... here is a spec sheet.

Actually, yes you can. This can even play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

I have a Switch and offset sticks is better.

They're not even modular to be able to choose which control layout you want. Frick that.

This is far more powerful than the Switch. Compare ports of games made for Switch compared to this one. This even has 1 TB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. Also, the analog sticks are not an issue at all. If you played the Wii U, this is like that, except that this is easier and more intuitive due to the small size compared to the Wii U gamepad.

It was no risk involved, since GPD not only always delivered on time from their past products, but also because there was a guarantee that we would get our money back if it didn't made enough money for its goal. It made its goal within less than an hour.

The Intel Gen11 Tiger Lake-U i7-1195G7's TDP is 28 watts and the GDP Win 3 has a 45 watt-hour battery (45Wh/28 = 1 hour and 36 minutes). Factor in power from other components and increased SOC power draw due to electrical resistance caused by increased thermals and this thing is likely not getting an hour if its at full load.

Okay, since no one in these threads actually own a deck I'll debunk a lot of the shit people claim. Yuzu sucks on the deck, horrible performance in a lot of games, but that'd due to development. The deck is buggy, the menu will hang for minutes at a time. Lot's of quality control issues, loads of people have to RMA their decks, including myself. Configuration is needed for majority of games. I'm used to linux, I've had arch for years so it's not a big deal to me but I could imagine being extremely off putting for most. Just like the steam controller, only enthusiasts will continue to support this system and it will never take off like people want/hope. Other than that, when it works, it's fricking amazing and I can't wait to see how it evolves over the years just like the steam controller. Valve has always been good about evolving and supporting their software.
