I don't understand how writing like this makes it into a multimillion dollar production. How many morons do you need in management positions to think that this is a good idea?
It's easy, greater writers are well paid and prefer to have a 400k USD yearly writing about thing they love instead of getting 1 million USD to work in a shit franchise where they don't have the freedom to do what he loves, its the same shit with movies/series, all the good writers of renowed series from the last 30 years can choose what they work now instead of losing time in Marvel shit or long stablished series.
Also, sometimes the companies are just straight up moron and think that a "renowned" writer is full of shit but his friend from college is the true writer.
You don't need to be a renowned and extremely highly paid writer to understand that writing something that is absolutely blatantly fricking stupid is stupid. You need to have the slightest modicum of common sense.
