You know what? Frick it
I really liked Warlords of Draenor
I likes the leveling, I liked the questing, I liked the music, I liked the way it looked
I don't think its perfect but I'm tired of pretending its bad

I liked BFA
I liked shadowlands
Here we go, it's starting.
>I really liked Warlords of Draenor
i did too . too bad ashran was ruined because blizzard is shit
>I liked BFA
me too . i dont understand how wod was higher quality than legion and bfa feels and looks better than shadowlands
all the bad parts of WoD were related to the endgame content, which is no longer relevant today
all the good parts of WoD are related to the leveling experience (garrison building, zones, music, quests, etc), which is still relevant today
therefore, WoD is now a good expansion
garrisons ruined the expansion
Made it better you mean
it ruined the endgame
it didn't ruin the leveling, it enhanced it
If blizzard had balls they'd do a classic WoD but get a team on the content that was cut. All of it.
i quit during cata but the whole thing looked moronic.
>lore retcons
>outland again but different
>mobile game shit
i was glad to have quit long before
It had a lot of squandered potential, yeah. If they'd invested in it properly the way they did for legion, dragonflight, or even bfa it would have been remembered very fondly. They just didn't follow through on the good start for some reason, legion got all the development resources instead.
It was moronic, I was extremely sceptical of the idea when it was announced, but it turned out to be (or have the makings of at least) a good expansion concept. The lore retcons weren't actually retcons because it was a different timeline with a slightly different history (even before Garrosh arrived and changed everything), and despite "being outland again but different" on paper the actual continent was so different (apart from nagrand) from what we saw in TBC that it really was an entirely new setting to explore in practice. Once you cleared the initial "well this moronic but ok then" hurdle it was actually pretty fun and interesting as a premise.
The mobile game shit was cancer though
>lore retcons
game have been getting shit recons since vanilla
>mobile game shit
just like the moronic mop farm
again but different
That is honestly the only redeeming factor. Anything burning crusade related will always have the best aesthetics.
I thought those rare beasts that drpped their mounts were cool
>be camping the rare mounts across Draenor
>camping Nakk the Thunderer for bloodhoof, no show
>go to work
>come back and login
>Nakk is fricking up
>run over to kill it
>hesitate
>open LFR and create a raid group
>"BLOODHOOF UP!!!"
>fill the group in 5 mins and everyone gets the mount
The only time I moralgayged in wow
It's another pig mount recolour
It's another wolf mount recolour
It's another talbuk mount recolour
All the unique mounts ended up in the cash shop.
WoD wasn't bad at least the leveling was fun with treasures giving exp and stuff you didn't need to quest really. At least on launch dunno if that got nerfed.
Pre-flying it was dope. Remember using the gladiators sanctum and just playing open world pvp
>Pre-flying it was dope
It was
Frick all the people that cried for them to add flying
WoD was always a good expansion and the narrative that it was bad was always BS. It mostly came from losers who only cared about endgame. They're the players who rush through leveling as fast as possible just to get to the end, they skip all the quest dialogue and everything. WoD was the last time that WoW really felt like WoW before it was essentially rebooted in Legion.
last good expac was legion
>WOD was good bro
>akshually the last good extransion was lejun
You Black folk are fricking moronic beyond belief, genuinely. Anything past vanilla is bad, anything past wotlk is unplayable garbage. I say this as someone who started with wotlk and ended on bfa.
HOWEVER, aesthetically WOD was sick as frick and the last time warcraft was warcraft in characters and aesthetic.
why did you keep playing unplayable garbage?
Legion is a completely different game from Vanilla-Wrath, but it's really good.
The zones are unbeliavably well made, questing is amazing, the art direction and music are on point, classes were well balanced and gameplay was fun.
Raids were, in my opinion, the best ever in wow, with good rewards and good catch-up mechanics, besides the RNG legendaries and the last patch being a nightmare to balance, it was legitimately really good.
>I likes the leveling,
huh almost had to go into essay levels of reasoning why you're wrong and your personal preference is shit but I see you made a typo kiddo
leveling its the only good thing in most of wow expansions
there's always exceptions like mop . shadowlands . or any expansion with the usual quests of
>wait here for things to happen
>listen to my shit for 5 minutes while i talk or you cant complete the quest
>escort me
>follow my slow ass
any expansion with those shit quest got shit leveling
Wotlk > Vanilla > MoP > TBC > dogshit >>>>>> WoD > Shadowlands
WoD was terrible enough to get me to quit wow the day before raids opened and Shadowlands was worse but I had some RL friends playing it so I stuck around just to raid with them.
Never played BFA, Cata, Legion, or Dragonflight. Kinda regret not playing during Legion I keep hearing people saying it was pretty good. Current wow looks like a joke, can't see myself ever subscribing again, just gonna stick to pservers and maybe classic occasionally.
>Wotlk >
>I'M THE BIG EVIL ENEMY
>every 5 quests
>he wins
>WOPS ACTUALLY NOT homosexualDIN MUST ALWAYS WIN
frick off homosexual
The plot/story progression was cringe I admit (hasn't every expansion since wotlk done the on rails shit), the balance also was awful in some places, plate classes owned the frick outta everybody for like a year, but it was still peak. I guess it also went on for like 6 months to a year too long, I think ICC lasted over a year. I quit for like 8 months and came back and everyone was doing the same shit they were doing before I took a break.
Same, it was great. We went back to a setting that made wow great : orcs, ogres, elementals, shit like that. The ogre raid then the blackrock raid were so cool.
Garrison was weird but eh. H
Best world pvp experience, being a feral during wod was sick.
Legion was fricking dogshit and it made me definitely quit wow forever.
I didn't play much during WoD, I know a lot of people were complaining because the 6.2 patch came out and there were no major updates for like 14 months until Legion was about to release.
>le on-rails narrative-driven questing experience
frick off and die, that shit is the exact opposite of what wow should be doing
