You made the morally correct decision to spare Vae Victis, hero of the Colony War, didn't you Ganker?

Of course. Vae Victis did nothing wrong.
Yeah, I sided with him and killed everyone and took over... oh wait you cannot do that. You cannot do fricking anything.
I found a bunch of clones on a planet in the far reaches of space (ls 65 system)
I killed two of the factions they had set up amongst each other and decided to let the third one cut their own path somewhere else among the stars
You can decide to do things in this game and yet you decided to be a little b***h instead
That wouldn’t even make sense. One of the conditions of the peace treaty was his execution. If he pulled off a coup it would lead to war.
Do you guys seriously support him?
he literally got hundreds of civilians killed to "restore muh family honor" and his whole plan relied on him calling you a nobody so you should be thankful he murdered innocents so you could stop the terrmorphs.
It's fricking ridiculous. One of the worst two dimensional villains i've ever seen, the James Bond tier "here's my evil plan MUAHAHAHA!" is beyond pathetic. Reminds me of the Gru meme, his whole plan relied on the protagonist being a scumbag loser.
hundreds VS millions
i admit the new atlantis spaceport and initial colony mission attacks were unfortunate, but he was justified during the colony war to keep the secret of the lazurus plant from spreading out and being used elsewhere.
The colony war happened 20 years ago nobody gives a frick about it. What matters is what he did in game. Calling it "unfortunate" makes me think you're just some mentally ill loser trying too hard with the "haha hitler did nothing wrong" meme.
Murdering people to restore your family name is beyond embarrassing.
what are a few ugly crowd npcs compared to billions of lives?
>he literally got hundreds of civilians killed
I mean have you seen the "civilians" in this game? Absolutely nothing of value was lost.
Yup literally moronic. Even my evil leaning character couldnt side with such buffoonish idiocy. Most rpg struggle to write evil characters and so if most struggle of course bethesda will fail
soulless, i wasn't about to let this entire questline be for nothing
He saved billions with his actions, he made difficult decisions that weaker men would be unwilling to do.
>bombed the space port from orbit
its entirely intact, a few broken ships. no bodies.
woah. epic
Animals and terromorphs probably ate the bodies. The landing pad is is in pieces and the buildings are collapsed. The areas with in tact bodies were locked until Kaiser opened the way
you know since the ship can land anywhere anyway
what is the point of blowing up the spaceport?
He did it to kill everyone who may have witnessed the effects of the Lazarus plant discovered at Londinion. He had his soldiers gather the civvies under the pretense of evacuating them
Yes. He did nothing wrong. People who hate him are too emotional to see that the attacks were necessary. Is it sad that innocent civilians were sacrificed in the process? Yes it is but is there another way to convince UC about the teramorphs?
What fricking danger? He was literally the only person with knowledge to create danger.
He set it up so that his daughter would regain the glory he lost. Saving people from potential danger was the excuse. Even if he was doing it out of selfishness he did nothing wrong and nothing worse than the rest of the UC
>Vae Victis
What a stupid name, might as well call yourself Carthago Delenda.
>stupid
first bethesda game?
Imagine naming your son Vae Victis
It’s a name he earned. It means woe unto the vanquished
You think I played that piece of shit that long?
The writing in this game is so horrendous. Everything is contrived and not a single character's actions make any logical sense. It's embarrassing
Nah frick homie Nigctis
I did as I wanted to see what would happen. He actually keeps his word and doesn't betray you which was funny. I like how there was even a FC Settler dialog option for him afterwards.
the funniest thing about this quest is everyone involved is a Black person
Bros, why are there no threads discussing Starfield's quests in the way that there have been for more than a decade with Skyrim? I'm starting to get concerned...
Because Ganker is now a zoomer hivemind and they decided it's ~~*cooler*~~ to tortanic meme the game than to actually play it and discuss it. They're also all poor so there's that.
good Gankerrothers are poorgays and still haven't the minimum hardware requirements but soon they'll catch up
Zoomers aren't dumb enough to play Bethesda shit. Might want to take a hint.
>bros did you do the quest number 7 for the generic faction 3 when you go to the generic planet x and clear out a mining outpost full of spacers so you can fetch generic item G
No I actually played the game
>implying I didnt
whats the point on discussing them when every fricking quest has one outcome
your dialogue choices dont matter and you cant solve it in different ways
oh but here you can choose to let him live or kill him
DOESNT FRICKING MATTER
the quest chain is over and its never mentioned again, you could ignore the questline completely and the game would play out the same
oh but you can spare him and get a reward right? right, the reward is infinite fetch quest from this homosexual
Your decisions are showcased during the final fight and even before that you can see the formation of a unit combatting terrormorphs as well as space llamas fighting terror morphs in the open world if you chose them.
My name is Veni Vidi, of the Vici clan
VV is honourary.
I'd like to get that far, but the quest is bugged on my SeX gamepass machine and I can't fricking do anything because Bethesda still think that it's a good idea to have NPCs open doors instead of being able to do it yourself, and this fricking Robot keeps walking into a fricking wall and then just standing there, not opening the fricking door.
holy wow is that a based black man? I bet he watches infowars
why a man would call himself "woes to the defeated"?
Everyone else started calling him that
I'm so sick of the "chosen one" trope in Bethesda games. In the first five minutes of Starfield someone hands the player a fricking spaceship and gets on a first name basis with the president of the galaxy.
I wish I could just be some space trucker hauling cargo or a miner or a soldier fighting aliens on some far flung outpost.
i had him killed since he was a Black person
did anyone notice if you tell them to use the aceles or whatever in this mission to get rid of the terrormorphs rather than using the microbes and then talk to sarah morgan after shes fricking seething that you didn't 'trust the science'
same, i had her as a companion and it was fricking infuriating. the microbes are a forgone conculsion since the settled system powers know of the plant. If anything the reintroduction of the aceles onto other UC systems is just as scientific. Just pure frustration at some of that c**ts reactions. Complaining about the red mile, etc. Too bad she'll never know shes now a sleeper agent for Vae Victis.
No because the game is shit
The roleplay aspect of Bethesda quests literally just comes down to either doing the quest or chosing to not do the quest at all.
Except that quest will always be in your quest log. You don't even get a chance to not get it there as some random NPC will mention X as you stroll by and now X is in your quest log. Tough luck.
People b***hed about this in Skyrim and Bethesda still hasn't listened.
yeah but only because none of the other options made sense. also his missions suck.
> Vae Victis
Isn't that Kanes catchphrase?
Doesn't make much sense to side with him. Sure, he didn't deserve being made a scrape goat for the old UC and being imprisoned. But he is the reason for everything going bad in that questline. Morally and logically, it doesn't make sense to side with him. Even from a power hungry POV, you're rewarded the same regardless of choice.
