I REALLY wanted this when Joker came to Smash when my switch hype was still going strong. But it's been so damn long I don't even care anymore. Even started buying pc versions to prep for the switch to Steam Deck 2 or whatever other new portable handheld we might get on pc in a year or two. I'm still waiting for Bayonetta 3 and glad P5 finally came to switch, but at this point I'm only gonna use the switch for exclusives. I don't think I'll be jumping
I think the one thing that soured it all was how bad the N64 emulation was and revealing OLED instead of a proper Switch Pro. I wanted to go all in on the Switch and they had to frick it up so hard with these two things.
Persona on Switch is cool, but I made it a rule of mine to only buy 3rd parties on PC, unless they have cross saves like the Witcher 3.
It's hard to pay full price for a 3rd party game on Switch knowing I could have bought it cheaper on Steam and played it with better graphics. But still, congrats to the future Persona fans on Switch. Hopefully they'll try out the Q/Q2 games as well.
I never understood the "switch isn't powerful enough to run it" argument given catherine full body which runs on the same engine was ported to switch just fine
I did. I had a full onions moment when they announced it for PC (and Xbox I guess) because I thought this shit would die on PS4, and I've been wanting to sell off my PS4. As disappointed as I was they didn't announce a Switch version I figured if they were going to it'd be in a Nintendo Direct. I was really happy about it but it didn't have me popping off as hard as when the original multiplat announcement happened.
still buying it on Switch, love the game but it's a long ass RPG and long as RPGs belong on handhelds, yeah it'd be good on Steam Deck probably better than on Switch (800p instead of 720, maybe 60fps though even the PS4 version of Royal didn't run at 60), but I'm not buying a Steam deck when I have a gaming PC, and I'm not playing a long ass RPG on my PC because then I'm really bogged down.
The popping off moment was killed so hard by the xbox reveal. It kind of telegraphed the Switch version along side the direct mini. The only question remaining was if it was a cloud version or not, and thankfully it wasn't.
Yeah. It feels great to decimate hordes with your Personas.
The story is just Persona 5's all over again, but the moments in which the new PT members are involved are all great.
I hope we see Zenkichi and Sophia again.
I’ve seen Sumire cumming
Looks fine to me, sorry you lost your exclusive though 😉
ching chong chingy chang
nintendo switch does the best it can
but when it runs far too slow
into the trash the switch will go
Give it up Gruntilda

>Ganker is moronic acting like a genius
What a surprise!
>Looks fine to me
Get glasses please.
Not the higher textures TRULY nintendo is doomed
>the Shitch can't run a PS3 game unless the graphics are downgraded
To be fair the Royal version updated a lot of subtle stuff for ps4.
*Cucks you out of your third party japanese games*
Keep coping and seething
i took this screenshot back way back playing on a ps4pro. you can clearly see the difference.
Switch pro is unironically happening. Remember the Nvidia leaks?
>Switch pro is unironically happening
TWO MORE WEEKS
TRUST THE PLAN
Realistically, it'll be next year.
As much as I shit on switch, it actually isn't really always bad with ports.
Atlus please announce PS4 saves will transfer to the PS5 version
If my memory serves, the PS5 port of Yakuza 7 didn't allow it, so I doubt it will be the same here.
Different dev and P5 did bother to have PS3 to PS4 save transfer, so I'm not giving up hope until there's more info.
who moronic enough to think atlus would pass up persona ports for japan biggest home console lmao
Will it run like shit on the Switch?
Good
It lacks the impact it should have since it will be better on deck
no one going to buy a 1000 dollar handheld to play 5 royal
it's 400 dollars
on ebay its 1000 dollars no one gonna pay for that shit or wait to preorder lmao

I did though. There was no way they weren't going to announce it.
I never understood the "switch isn't powerful enough to run it" argument given catherine full body which runs on the same engine was ported to switch just fine
It's just a cope
It can run it, it'll just look like shit.

Cloud version
Literal cope post.
I only played P4G on PC and I loved it. It also sold very well, why wouldn't Atlus port P5R for PC? It will sell like hotcakes.
>why wouldn't Atlus port P5R for PC?
Literal brainlet.
It was more of a rhetorical question. What took them so long and/or why didn't they do it from the first?
Supposedly the CEO of Atlus has some autistic hatred for PC and SEGA is basically forcing them to port stuff
um bro....??? It's coming to steam...
You'll never see it running..at a reasonable framerate
On a related note, is strikers any good?
Yeah. It feels great to decimate hordes with your Personas.
