Infamous 2 is kino as frick and it's an absolute crime the first two were never remastered.
I used to wish Sucker Punch was a bigger studio so they could develop multiple games at the same time, until the Insomniac leak opened my eyes at the absolute farce that is AAA development.
Triple A games are a joke now, $300 million to make Spiderman 2? Yeah right, what the frick?

I’d like a fourth too, but I can’t quite imagine where they’d go with the story from there, maybe something to do with the Paper Conduit they introduced with that neat little easter egg hunt? I also hope they’d add some more stuff to do, game was pretty empty after you beat the story
InFamous 1 is a neat, but strangely concept. Super Hero game with Assassin's Creed climbing, but it's a shooter. I think it's my favorite despite how fricking annoying it is to be shot from every direction constantly throughout the game.
I honestly remember very little from InFamous 2 despite it being a fairly solid upgrade from 1. I think I liked the weird vampire dlc better than the main game.
Second Son was a tech demo that didn't really have much going for it.

Fricking yeah, those reapers junkies with their AKs would somehow manage to nail you from anywhere, didn't matter what you were doing, minding your own business and they'd have perfect aim every single time
2 was an absolute blast to play, but it is a real shame they just didn't know what to do after it. Second son was fine, but I don't remember much at all from it.
2 > 1 > Festival of Blood > First Light > Second Son
2 is one of my favorite games ever. Just a blast to play and the story is awesome.
I'd put First Light above Festival of Blood. They really need to release 1 and 2 on PC. Shame it's pretty much KIA after Ghosts of Tsushima was a hit.

Infamous and Killzone aren't high profile enough for the devs or Sony to get a remaster and Insomniac just hates everything they developed before the PS4

Really liked 2, never got to play 1 or that dlc, second son was alright, could've been much much worse.
I ended up liking Fetch a lot more than I thought I would honestly. Her backstory is pretty sad. Her neon power was also the coolest by far. Hope they do more with it if there’s ever another game

It's not, SS is based off the good ending, years after Cole used the Ray Field Inhibitor. the Bad ending was him destroying it, killing Zeke and moving across the country, making more conduits before the plague killed millions of people

Sucker Punch didn't want to be in the inFamous and Sly farms forever and wanted to do a new IP. Both SS and FL were rushed out the door so Ghost of Sushi could come to life.
Which sucks because although Sushi isn’t terrible Infamous definitely had more potential
As much as I love infamous people are sick to death of capeshit so it's probably for the best we got Swooshieman, I'd like another some day though.

First two were great. The rest was lacking. Shame too, since the size of the world, graphics, animation were pretty impressive for the time.
ngl I hated both original games. The marketing kept pumping out this "what if you were a superhero" or "what if the superhero, isnt exactly a nice guy" getting you all jazzed for what seems like a cool if edgy superhero game, and then you play the game and youre in the trash kingdom, home of dirty homeless and bags blowing in the wind, your powers consist of....electricity.....and.......just electricity..... really underwhelming. prototype was a far uglier game with a worse story but far more fun to play
I love iF1 and thought Second Son was fairly enjoyable. Main issues with the latter was the lack of difficulty compared to the first game and some weird gimmick stuff (spray painting motion controls was fine, but having to use the touch bar to refill your powers never felt natural).
I hope the series gets another entry, but the last non Ghost of Tsushima title that Sucker Punch worked on was 8 years ago, so I don't have high hopes.
These games are so full of soul, they managed to make the electric powers so satisfying to use, compared to Miles in SM where they just feel like absolute ass

They could have worked in a way for the morality choices to be related to Cole or at least grant some incentive to the player to pick one over the other beyond "Are you a burn it all down kind of guy or plant all the pretty flowers kind of guy?", even Bioshock 1 at least had a moronic economic incentive to being good or bad, in Infamous its just what flavor do you prefer, Mountain Dew Code Red or Mountain Dew Voltage?

Loved the second. Never played the first. Second Son was ahead of its time graphically and the powers and stuff were fun but the story is kind of lackluster, I also wish we could have actually used the powers we absorbed to their fullest extents rather than the watered down versions we got.
I just wish all the powers were as fleshed out as smoke.

First 2 are legitimately pretty good. Second son literally ONLY got any praise because people were DESPERATE for a ps4 exclusive, no matter what it was. Honestly, I didn't even know first light existed, so I have no clue if it's good or bad.
Man they were just bleak times, so desperate for exclusives that they made Infamous Second Son and fricking Killzone Shadow Fall, two "sequels" that were just a giant frick you to fans of those series

This is missing Festival of Blood, which was some of the most fun I ever had with a DLC, even though it’s noncanon iirc
played 2 first, loved it, didnt get through the first going back because I missed all the powers and monsters added in the sequel.
second son felt really shallow for some reason, got to the digital realm and lost interest. spreading powers across 4-5 different types was the wrong move, made you feel like you were just dipping your toe in everything. also enemy variety was lacking
Infamous 1 had a decent plot, a shame all the loose ends were tied up in a shitty comic.
Infamous 2 started ok but it was a clusterfrick halfway through and only the ice powers were fun.

I really enjoyed the Infamous 2 demo at my local target back then. Should've gotten the game, but I couldn't afford it or the consoles. I was not thrilled with Second Son, but I can give it props for cool looking powers. The frick is the newest one though? Never heard of that one.

Only played infamous 1 but honestly I enjoyed it even if the city was fricking ugly. Back then we all referred to as the static shock videogame because it was just an original guy as static and it was honestly very cool. I would try it again. I remember the importance of this IP at the time insofar as Cole was the Goku of PSABR and second son was the face of ps4 titles for a while.
Would really like a port or for emulation to catch up to them (haven't looked in awhile on that).
I got a PS4 on the cheap in 2020 to play some of the PS games I had missed from being on the PC end. I just couldn't do it from the frame rates, it gives me headaches.
Loved them, though never played first light.
Played them when I was a kid and still have a special place in my heart for them. Sad it’s pretty much buried.
