But SS in its entirety was such a disaster that you're right, I'll never see pokemon the same again. Seeing the quality of the game, and its reception online, it all really made me realize I am just not part of the target audience anymore and the series will never live up to what I hoped it would.

last game i bought was Sun, it was the final straw afte ORAS (that i bought) and XY (that i skipped after seeing how shit they were). Im here just to laugh
Ironically I went back to XY after playing SM and had so much more to appreciate about them. Not so much with SWSH to SM since they both feel like retreads of each other.
