Outer worlds is the most incredibly average RPG made my man, so that would be pretty impressive if Bethesda did worse than that.

I will because I love Bethesda games because of their weird flaws and nuances. Games being slightly janky are the ones that are the most fun. Also Bosmer are my favorite TES race and I love the Adoring Fan.
Bosmer are also manlets and in Skyrim the character's height is directly tied to movement speed and attack damage. Altmer truly are the master race.

Don't criticize Bethesda. More useless space filled with procedurally-generated, carbon-copy planets is good. Handcrafting more enemies and interesting npcs that require effort is bad.

Actually, in Skyrim there’s quite a few cases where you can outright attack and kill the quest giver and in a non-murderhobo context and still have content for your run. For example, the dark brotherhood, the alikr quest and the namira quest.
