Most support class players are absolute shitters and them picking support is just a huge cope for them being bad on offense. I mean really think about it, why else would you hang behind a random dude and hold the heal key all match while he soaks up all the kills and gets top fragger on scoreboard? It's a total beta cuckold set of classes.
I actually do play support classes in games out of mental illness, but I'd imagine other people like them as more chill/noob-friendly classes. Or they just don't trust random people to play them effectively.
In some cases like WoW, the support classes are actually way more fun and in-depth than the damage dealers, too.
I wish Medic had a good needle gun, I never find any reason to swap to one over the ubersaw.
