Is Golden better than original. It's the only one i own.
/v/irgins will tell you golden sucks and they have legitimate reasons for hating it like the fog being much worse than the original and Marie not adding much but realistically it makes little sense to play the original instead of Golden with less content and worse QoL with stuff like shuffle time being worse.

Every purse owner game has people saying that playing anything but the original release is not the true experience. Just play Golden. You'll get over the fog the first time you want to fuse specific skills on a demon.
