Ghost Recon Shadow Wars
Etrian Odyssey, the normal ones, the Untold remakes are shit.
Based. I still wish we got 3U for the QoL and maybe some class rebalances.
Also, Stella Glow.
People praise the frick out of Stella Glow but what really sets it aside from a typical JRPG? I've looked into this multiple times and never seen anything that makes the game stand out, resulting in me being hesitant to get it
It's a comfy by-the-books (strategy) rpg with impeccable music, clean art direction, and lots of tropes. But it works because it doesn't try subvert shit like everything these days.
somebody post The List
Lords of Magna: Maiden Heaven
The 3DS sucks.
Project Mirai DX
Good taste.
Toushin Toshi 3ds
Metal Max4
Seisou No Amazones
I also didn't try Money Punk but seemed fun
You also have medarot games.
Digimon Redigtize got fan translation.
Bowsers Inside Story.
The original non 3DS version
Pokémon Rumble Blast.
Bravely Default and Kirby Planet Robobot.
3d classics kid icarus and kirby's adventure
3ds has no games I unironically prefer its ports and VC library more than actual 3dshit
Ace Combat Assault Horizon +
I would turn off the dogfight mode though.
Legend of Legacy
Thanks for reminding me that game exists. I stopped playing after a while because my Japanese skills were too basic, but since an English version exists, I will look into that.
About my picks here:
Kirby Planet Robobot is one of my favorites in the series, and alternatively emulating it at high resolution is also surprisingly gorgeous, almost as if it was originally meant for the wiiu rather than tiny 3DS screens. But playing it on the 3DS has the pro of neat 3D effects.
Bravely Default has such great QoL and likeable characters, it oozes soul. But the story will get repetitive at some point, so there's no shame in only pursuing the false ending. If you can't use Streetpass, have your only Norende villager rebuild the shop that gives you special moves for each weapon type(, so you can use special moves other than the Sword one you start with - Rejuvenation is OP, and Bow ones can trigger multiple times in a boss fight if done right).
Also consider playing DS games since those work on the 3DS. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Sky are the only Pokemon games I give a frick about, and there are mods for them, too. A more challenging Mystery Dungeon game is e.g. Etrian Mystery Dungeon for the 3DS.
