I'd like gruntilda as a fighter, sounds silly but it pains to know that if rare had stayed with nintendo banjo would have been in by brawl at the latest and would have got a ton of representation and likely a 2nd fighter.

A new core 12 of core Nintendo only fighters. Presentation follows Pokken style. Each player gets a camera. It's a 1v1 fighter. Player home stadiums, you saw donkey kongs in the Mario movie. All stages use the dynamic blocks layout like in the movie.
It's still smash control and fighting system, despite camera change. Very fast. The tighter camera and zooms, plus new hardware, means the game plays in action identically to the best cinematics, and looks better too.

no, please do not take Mario Movie as an example of the videogames, however I will say that the mario movie design does oddly fit smash bros
