Attack! He's wearing leather armor, he can't be a real druid, so he's lying to us for some reason.

I once played a skeleton witch in a PF2e game with you guys but I was the naturey subclass so it was basically a druid. I described the character as having spanish moss that resembled hair and a beard and he had a witch hazel leshy familiar.

Have you tried not playing D&D?

      >He's wearing leather armor
He found a dead deer with prions. Couldn't let the other deer get sick so he made armor out of it.

Druids can wear leather armor in all editions of D&D, moron. They also don't get any debuffs for wearing metal armor

The debuff is that your character sheet gets smudged from all the sweat you produce for being the type of person who wears metal armor as a druid

      Honestly, more or less this.

Ask him point blank if he's evil and if the answer is no have him explain his general deal. If all that adds up we'll let him know that he probably shouldn't wander beyond these woods because being undead is quasi-illegal but quite frankly we have way to many problems right now to bust him for that.

Had one of these encounters in the last D&D campaign I ran (and will ever run).

They adopted it. It became one of their party's henchmen. It was the bouncer at the Fighter's tavern at the very end of that campaign. A tavern he named The Busty Lich after asking said skeleton what gender it identified as and it telling him it had been a woman when it was alive, but now only identified as a sapient being.

      yes
just past the skeleton druid is a grove of dying trees, sitting on a picturesque hill over the dusty badlands
one of them is walking, cane held in its bough, and seems to be instructing the skeletons on druidcraft
you have found the undead ent the forest king wanted you to find, now you must ask if he knows anything about that another ent that wears armor and is trying to destroy the world, some dude named exdeath or something

After you have given some milk to the druid as a kindness gift, he starts to recount his story:

    >«Oh, Hero McHero and your amazing murderhobos friends. Let me tell you my sad story. Since the red and silver dragons plied the blue skies and holy kings ruled these virgin lands, I've been the protector of the Greenleaf Forest. As you can see, my human body has disintegrated like morning dew and infinite sand, and I am only alive because of the sacred oath I took with the Green Mother. However, the Golanstone gnome clan chose the Greenleave Forest several months ago to use the ancient trees to build cruel machines that are soulless and offensive to the sacred natural order of things. I tried to push them away, recalling the sacred oath made by the Green Mother and the inhabitants of this forest, but they dared to hire a Holy Flame priest to kill me. Please, brave and sexually active murderhobes, aid me in protecting the Greenleaf Forest. If you push the gnomes and priest away, I'll give you an incredible relic of the Green Mother.»
