>Normal >Psychic
Placebo - The User raises it's attack special attack and speed by two stages, but after 2 turns, the raised stats are lowered by 2 turns. Cannot use this move while the effects of Placebo are still active.
ah that's because Bulbapedia is moronic and puts the one the least people care about first so I missed that I was looking at Grass's Gen 1 effectiveness
>Ground/Rock
I was about to describe it, but suddenly a japanese guy materialized outside my window and is mumbling something about a Cease or Decease while holding a piece of paper and a gun
Possession
Status / -- Acc / 1 PP / -6 Priority
The user possesses the target Pokemon, taking control of them for three turns and preventing them from being switched out. The user will choose moves and targets for the afflicted Pokemon. The user remains on the field during this time and can be attacked but cannot make any moves. If the user is KO'd early, the move ends. Dark and Normal types are unaffected, as well as Pokemon with the abilities Own Tempo, Unaware, or Purifying Salt. Does not bypass Protect.
>Water/Ground
Mud Play
All Grass users get reduced effectiveness, and electric moves just won't work. Burn status no longer affects you, and Rock gets to cry in the corner like always. Shame most of the time will be a 2nd turn move. At least is a good set up, if you manage to survive.
>Ground / Rock
Desert Geyser
Power 50 (65 / 80 / 95 / 110)
90% Accuracy
5/5 PP Base / 8/8 PP Max
Physical move
Does not make contact
The user continually blast an explosion of dirt and sharpened rock into the target over five turns. This attack becomes more powerful each time it hits.
Desert Geyser's power is doubled when a sandstorm is raging. have fun Rhyperior, go and kill shit to the extreme
>Water/Ghost
Perhaps something related to fearing the sea/the deep/drowning? Would definitely be cool to see a signature move for Jellicent that involves sinking.
>Bug Dragon
I honestly have no idea
>x2 Dragon, Grass, Psychic, Dark
>x1/2 Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ghost, Fire
>x1/4 Steel
>x0 Fairy
Anything with bug is just sad
>both dances
Straight to AG
>Rock/Dragon
New signature move for Tyrantrum, I guess.
Would probably have 95 acc too
>Normal

BRAIN BLAST
Imagine if Alakazam had a move like that
It would be almost half as good as Fluttermane!
Woah anon, let's not get ahead of ourselves
2x: Fighting, Ground, Rock, Water, Dark
1x: Normal, Ghost, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dragon, Fairy
0.5x: Flying, Bug, Steel, Grass
0.25x: Poison, Fire
Guess the combo. Salazzle and Iron Moth would love going against it
I can't figure it out, please just tell me
Grass/Fairy
But Steel resists both Grass and Fairy
ah that's because Bulbapedia is moronic and puts the one the least people care about first so I missed that I was looking at Grass's Gen 1 effectiveness
Grass / Fairy
Ground/Rock
x4 Fire
x2 Electric, Rock, Poison, Ice
x1 Steel, Bug, Water, Normal, Dragon, Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Fairy
x0.5 Fighting, Ground, Grass
x0 Flying
I totally doesn't want to make said move ignore Flying's immunity just because.
>Flying/Dragon
Dragon Ascent reworked to deal dual-type damage.
Fire/Grass
x2 Ice, ground
x1/2 Flying, Poison
x1/4 Fire, Dragon
At least i can kill mamoswine
>Ground/Rock
I was about to describe it, but suddenly a japanese guy materialized outside my window and is mumbling something about a Cease or Decease while holding a piece of paper and a gun
Is it possible to make a dual type move that's actually good? Most of these seem worse than running one of each type.
There is 8 type combos with 2 4x weaknesses, thus the only ones able to make 16x weaknesses
Water/Grass-Ground/Rock
Fight/Ground-Rock/Steel
Fight/Steel-Rock/Ice
Ground/Water-Rock/Fire
Flying/Fire-Bug/Grass
Rock/Fire-Steel/Grass
Ghost/Dark-Ghost/Psychic
Fight/Fire-Steel/Ice
>Propeller Rip
>Water/Steel
>The target is ripped by sharp propeller blades two to five times in quick succession.
>PP 10
>Power 22
>Accuracy 85%

>Bug/Electric
Some sort of firefly related attack, perhaps? Either that or a joke about Bug Zappers.
>normal/bug
it's legitimately terrible, lol. at least it means we'd get a normal/bug mon finally, so we will be using it anyways
>Water/Ground

a physical Poison/Steel move called Anal Rape perfect for targeting Fairies
>Dark/Fighting
I think it would be cool
