well i wont be paying for either of them if i decide to play or not, is 2 skippable at least then if it's that bad? or do i need some prior knowledge from that game for inquisition
Of course they will, they don't know anything else in life except consuming zogchow. They were born into it, their parents did it and taught them. And peer pressure/consensus will do the rest.
I'll pirate Bloodlines 2, a man needs to see his baby at least once before he buries it. Dragon Age was never good, though. Didn't even know a new one was coming.
I haven't even finished the "good" entries in those franchises because I got bored.
VTMB has some nice vibes but goddamn is it barren. It barely even qualifies as an RPG. Pretty much no substance to any of it.
She is the director of Bioware Dreadwolf, i dont think the next DA will be shit because of her, not at all, but Bioware have shown us constantly for the last 10 years that they are terrible at making games now, even Gabe left them after Inquisiton DLC and went to CDPR where he pulled it from the depths of hell with 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty.
This new director is not to blame for the upcoming disaster imo, i believe Bioware issues are deeper than that.
Ofcourse it could be a nice surprise and Dreadwolf may turn up to be a good game, but i highly doubt it, after the leaked footage Dreadwolf is lucky if it gets above 85 metacritic.
>She is the director of Bioware Dreadwolf >Look it up >It's true
I didn't think we had reached this level of clown world yet.
I guess there is nothing left but embrace the honking
Its sad to see WRPG IPs in the hands of literal trash tier developers.
Its 2 months into 2024 and JRPG developer have been dishing masterpiece after masterpiece, and now WRPG devs are struggling to make a 6/10 game, its doomed.
ZAUM is done for and Obsidian is skeptical about their upcoming game.
Bethesda shit the bed with Starfield
It also doesnt help that every 3 years we get one WRPG.
Thank god we at least still have Larian and CDPR, the last 2 good WRPG makers left and they are not even North American.
I like this thing about the Japanese they like classical methods, they are often accused of being stuck in their own ways, but its making them good stuff recently, meanwhile western devs are going through crisis with multiple flops and layoffs, how do we fix this?
>Thank god we at least still have Larian and CDPR, the last 2 good WRPG makers left and they are not even North American.
Owlcat too, they're a lot more niche and they make games on a shoestring budget, but i still like them
Yeah Owlcat have the potential to carry the genre forward, i just wish they reduce the scale a bit, polish the game and spread their budget better so they can make acclaimed titles that sells well and allows them to make even better products going forward, they dont even need to casualize the game, just change of plans in regards to production and direction.
There is also Warhorse studios, but those two are somewhat niche, they show a lot of promise though.
VTMB is super high potential IP for a RPG, its sad to see the ip in the hands of these amateurs, they are not going to do it justice.
Bloodlines 2 looks so bad bros… there’s no character sheet, no inventory, no skills, the game looks linear, it has a Fallout 4 dialogue wheel with a console 4-button layout which implies there will only be a max of 4 options, there’s only 4 clans at launch with 2 DLC, no blood points just “pips” you get from combat feeding which is just a short cutscene, no Rik Schafer, there’s an annoying sidekick character who never shuts up… why is this even called Bloodlines 2?
Studios closing down
Iconic developers & writers being fired or retiring
Change in playerbase
Console focused gaming
Political agendas
High pressure and demand by casual gamers (production values)
Didn't a bunch of Bioware staff leave the studio because of some behind the scenes frickery with this game?
Like they wanted live service shit or something?
I think like David Gaider who I believe basically created Dragon Age.
Which DA characters will end up being trans? Which ones will end up being blackwashed? >Fiona and Alistair will be black >all the DA2 party will be trans except Anders and maybe Varric >screencap this post
Yeah but you know what I am not going to do? Pay for either.
>it's okay to waste my time on slop as long as i don't pay for it
most intelligent Ganker user
>bloodline
Probably, but see
>dragonage
That doesn't seem worth even pirating
i haven't played DA since origins came out originally. is it worth it to try out 2 and inquisition?
DA2 is one of the worst AAA releases of all time. Inqy is semi decent
well i wont be paying for either of them if i decide to play or not, is 2 skippable at least then if it's that bad? or do i need some prior knowledge from that game for inquisition
I like the story in 2 more than the other 2 games.
Of course they will, they don't know anything else in life except consuming zogchow. They were born into it, their parents did it and taught them. And peer pressure/consensus will do the rest.
>Pay $70 to get shit on for being a white man who enjoys things that aren't acceptable anymore
I think not.
No I'm not. I haven't even finished Origins, let alone played any other DA. And lets not even talk about the impending disaster that is VTMB2.
Nope, haven't played gayquisition nor andromeda.
I'll pirate Bloodlines 2, a man needs to see his baby at least once before he buries it. Dragon Age was never good, though. Didn't even know a new one was coming.

Are they even still making Dreadwolf?
Yep, got a kickass director and everything
I can't believe this is how such an iconic studio dies.
There is no way that's the director, you are bullshitting

Can't believe I miss the gay director.

>Wrpg dev when he sees how much better Jrpgs are
Ill give bloodlines a pirate, dragon age and bioware can go frick themselves however
Funny it's the other way round for me.
How did WRPGs get so bad bros?

Yeah probally when they're on sale maybe.
What's wrong with that?
probably wont, DA inq was not that great so Im not that interested in Dreadwolf.
Didn't a bunch of Bioware staff leave the studio because of some behind the scenes frickery with this game?

lol, yeah
because relying on "they'll play/watch it anyway" has really been working out for the entertainment industries lately
No. I'm not.
you're a homosexual beyond belief
