When Epurrely Noir comes you'll have another way to realistically get into the EX form, even if it's still worse than by Plump.
The hits to Purrely and Memory did make the deck considerably more frail because getting interrupted hits harder. It's still very good so it will probably do the same thing Kash did where everyone stops running the counters because they don't see the deck anymore which makes everyone run it again once the counters are no longer played.

I happen to have 3 solars because batteryman was my first deck in MD sadly they are super important. Solar + one bystial gets you a full package chaos angel and the tokens let you combo hard with ringo.

I used to have it and it actually synchs up with a lot of other decks but be aware that the myutant boss monsters are total ass. Not the worst pet deck out there but be aware it's not remotely competitive.

You don't have enough interruption turn 1 to lock your opponent out of playing, but you also don't have any sort of grind-game to go for long games while every other deck right now is drawing 5 every turn.
I mean even the most absurd "pure Myutant combo" sounds like meh. Like its one Spell negate, one CL2 Monster banish, one CL2 on Trap draw 2, and the shittiest Master Peace and Mechaba clones known to man

Its probably being slept on quite hard since its like a 2 card combo to skip your opponents turn.
Although it is fragile, since all your effects are Hard OPT, you can't easily switch gears once your committed to a specific play.
Maybe if people do some science to see what else you can summon off of the goofy resource loops.
Funny enough turn skipping isn't even something you do that often more times than not you're doing the appo + draco combo.

I've been able to switch a couple of times after being disrupted hard but I know what you mean it ain't no math mech for sure. Sometimes you just have to be ok with ending on 3 mat ptolemaeus or Pleiades with a skybridge set for a pop.

Gotta admit that they're super fun and it always feels good beating someone with it but yeah they're hard once per turn which sucks immensely, and they brick super hard. You need 2 lvl 4 monsters to go into your XYZs, and the main deck monsters have to easy special sumon so you gotta add spirit slop and Sages to make the deck playable

Fusion deployment special summons Cartesia which is really good in modern Branded.
At the absolute minimum Cartesia + any blank light/dark is a Titaniklad send which summons Quem in the endphase. In the best possible scenario Cartesia is an imperm dodge and sets up your gimmick puppet lock.

43 cards are fine these days due to the number of one card starters and searching around. Also the EX is mostly filler for VS outside of statue anyways though the zoo stuff is funny. It's pretty clear he's not running a super good version of the deck anyways since he's running slime and is missing a mad lab

Essentially it got support until the story ended in CYAC. This is the last of it for the foreseeable future until they make a new season for it due to its popularity.
Of course Branded as a deck is still going to change though. Chimera, some DM style nostalgiabait, is going to be spliced in later.

there's a bunch of punk variants floating around right now, i dunno which ones would be better than the others. i don't think punk is very good right now in general, they're kind of flimsy and don't lead to much unless you open crazy
punks to tear are what dark magician is to branded they both end up in the graveyard useless sad and they don't do anything but start the big daddy engine, you are playing a tear deck punks are just there to get you to chaos ruler and zombie vampire.
PUNK Kash is just pure PUNK with Kash cards taking up some of your lvl 7 extenders/hand trap spots. It's less consistent because you draw cards while comboing, and you don't want to draw Unicorn while you already have monsters on field. PUNK Tear is a GY combo slop deck that uses PUNK to make Chaos Ruler.
You only need 1 Deer Note for PUNK as an engine, but if you want to play an actual PUNK deck or Bystial PUNK the superior comboslop build then you really want 2, though the second one doesn't come up more than like 20% of games.

Anyone who actually gives a frick has been 20 for a while now. Its so dead at the top that I was getting matched with people of lower ranks when I was trying to complete the spell mission earlier. If you're having trouble this late in you must be legit shit or playing a toon tier deck.

The new gameplay revolves around the upgrade spells – Evil Ritual, Angel’s Charity, Metalmorph, Kaleidoscope – Magnificent Doppelgangers. Inspired by the fusing mechanic of old Yu-Gi-Oh! titles such as Forbidden Memories, these spells transform the selected monster into a stronger monster. Some monsters are compatible with multiple of these.
Enemy duelists, card costs, card prices, and the limited and semi-limited lists are fully rebalanced. Compounding in this order: defensive monsters cost less, 2+ tributes cost less, certain types cost only 80% and have +15% shop price – these types are those that don’t receive field benefits (angels, reptiles, machines, pyros) and warriors (because angels, magicians, and beast-warriors would overshadow them otherwise).
Some cards are replaced and many new effects are added, including a wider variety of cloners and summoners. Delicous got semi-limited, meaning My Friend doesn't always add it. Plump is the best way to get into big Noir.
When Epurrely Noir comes you'll have another way to realistically get into the EX form, even if it's still worse than by Plump.
The hits to Purrely and Memory did make the deck considerably more frail because getting interrupted hits harder. It's still very good so it will probably do the same thing Kash did where everyone stops running the counters because they don't see the deck anymore which makes everyone run it again once the counters are no longer played.

Swordsoul can use it pretty easily since their normal monster tokens special summon themselves (if only it was a wyrm) and it's used in dragon link for shit.

I happen to have 3 solars because batteryman was my first deck in MD sadly they are super important. Solar + one bystial gets you a full package chaos angel and the tokens let you combo hard with ringo.

I used to have it and it actually synchs up with a lot of other decks but be aware that the myutant boss monsters are total ass. Not the worst pet deck out there but be aware it's not remotely competitive.

They really remind me of Ogdoadics, the two playstarters read amazing and then you read the rest of the archetype and it goes so downhill so fricking fast with these mediocre bricky shitty ass bosses with mediocre payoffs for its delibitating costs they felt the need to staple everywhere

You don't have enough interruption turn 1 to lock your opponent out of playing, but you also don't have any sort of grind-game to go for long games while every other deck right now is drawing 5 every turn.
I mean even the most absurd "pure Myutant combo" sounds like meh. Like its one Spell negate, one CL2 Monster banish, one CL2 on Trap draw 2, and the shittiest Master Peace and Mechaba clones known to man

Funny enough turn skipping isn't even something you do that often more times than not you're doing the appo + draco combo.

Its probably being slept on quite hard since its like a 2 card combo to skip your opponents turn.

You need 2 lvl 4 monsters to go into your XYZs, and the main deck monsters have to easy special sumon so you gotta add spirit slop and Sages to make the deck playable

You can open 2k packs and get at least 1 UR.
You can open the Slifer pack and get NOTHING.
Realistically, you're still getting at least 2 extra URs from it.
I'd get it only if you want the royal or the cosmetics.
If you go in expecting something from the packs it can make you feel like you got fricked.

Its there to help you not instantly lose when branded fusion gets ash'd.
It's an option to get Albaz or Cartesia on the field for their on field effect. If those don't matter to you then cut it
Fusion deployment special summons Cartesia which is really good in modern Branded.
At the absolute minimum Cartesia + any blank light/dark is a Titaniklad send which summons Quem in the endphase. In the best possible scenario Cartesia is an imperm dodge and sets up your gimmick puppet lock.

This is activated vs continuous. Imperm activates and he blocks it. D-Barrier and Skill Drain apply long after the activation, so he is vulnerable..
If it's unaffected by effects then it won't be affected by an effect that attempts to negate it.

43 cards are fine these days due to the number of one card starters and searching around. Also the EX is mostly filler for VS outside of statue anyways though the zoo stuff is funny. Essentially it got support until the story ended in CYAC. This is the last of it for the foreseeable future until they make a new season for it due to its popularity.
Of course Branded as a deck is still going to change though. Chimera, some DM style nostalgiabait, is going to be spliced in later.

there's a bunch of punk variants floating around right now, i dunno which ones would be better than the others. i don't think punk is very good right now in general, they're kind of flimsy and don't lead to much unless you open crazy
punks to tear are what dark magician is to branded they both end up in the graveyard useless sad and they don't do anything but start the big daddy engine, you are playing a tear deck punks are just there to get you to chaos ruler and zombie vampire.
PUNK Kash is just pure PUNK with Kash cards taking up some of your lvl 7 extenders/hand trap spots. It's less consistent because you draw cards while comboing, and you don't want to draw Unicorn while you already have monsters on field. PUNK Tear is a GY combo slop deck that uses PUNK to make Chaos Ruler.
You only need 1 Deer Note for PUNK as an engine, but if you want to play an actual PUNK deck or Bystial PUNK the superior comboslop build then you really want 2, though the second one doesn't come up more than like 20% of games.

The new gameplay revolves around the upgrade spells – Evil Ritual, Angel’s Charity, Metalmorph, Kaleidoscope – Magnificent Doppelgangers. Enemy duelists, card costs, card prices, and the limited and semi-limited lists are fully rebalanced.
