Generally I have issues playing Decks that deviate from the one trick pony combo path (think troony twins). Am I Just moronic? What are other decks like this that don't require me to follow a spreadsheet. Like the main goal is to set up a specific board and you either win or you lose when that board gets set up (troony twins have a 100% chance of getting their end board out turn 1 which is why I like them so much).
Pendulums won. They won so hard, that TCG players got PTSD from all that reading and started taking out every single Endymion support card and cards like Chicken game and Upstart goblin. Embarrassing but Pends will keep on winning in the game the matters: Master Duel.
2 weeks from now. Konami needs a fun pend deck that wins consistently and they'll just do whatever they want with the release schedule. Nothing is static and guaranteed in the game. They've demonstrated this time and time again (ninjas, Dark Magician).

The combos are relatively linear. You just need to decide what endboard you're going for to set up your extra deck for it, but once you make ignister prominence, you can just do full combo. It's not like pendmag or something where you always use your entire hand as a combo piece.
Man why's it always have to be TCG, if they were popular in the OCG (the region konami cares about) they wouldn't be sidelined like they are still, shackled to fricking links.
For what it's worth though I don't hate pends I just never have enough of them thrown at me to learn the matchup, and none of their staples are splashable so I'm reluctant to use dust on what are generally known as rogue at best decks that I have no personal attachment to like my other decks.
If there were a cheaper pend deck that could get by with Astro and Electru as their only URs I'd try it.

The thing with CR is DL has so much bullshit that they had no choice but to hit URs. With mathmech it's lines are linear as frick they can hit the lower rarity bottlenecks instead. Like if they banned splash mage the deck would have a hard time making transcode without an exceptional hand. Or if you hit the trap the deck loses one of it's best pieces of interaction. Or if you hit sigma circular itself becomes trash. Etc.
The deck will absolutely get hit eventually but they can easily kill it without giving a UR refund. And MD's MO is to kill decks without giving UR refunds if at all possible. The only time they hit URs is if there is no other way to truly kill a deck.

The ban on Agido quickly led to bans of both millers in the OCG/TCG despite the meta being at different places. There is at least a few decision makers on all 3 boards.

get some Muckrackers and at least one Chaos Angel. You should also switch Lyna with Dharc because you're playing a dark deck. Also it would be a good idea to play a level 8 synchro to go with Gamma. Omega or Accel Stardust + Baronne.

Arc V suffered from both a decline in storytelling and duel writing.
Seriously, Action Duels were a fun a creative way at first to make the games more distinct, but eventually it just became an excuse for Yuya to get hard carried by action magic evade/miracle.
And the braceluts got screwed over so badly. The only time you see two of them not in a flashback is when they're being mindcontrolled by a brain parasite that's interestingly enough, referenced in the card that's meant to celebrate them and their decks.
Arc V is my favorite season too but I don't fault anyone for hating it.

That's why Arc-V fell off hard around the Synchro arc and only got worse after. And also why the problems continued to Vrains and got bad enough the director(?) kept apologizing for the frequent recap episodes.

I run them pure with meme cards, so best to check out HIS site.
Ideally you'd have another Moonbow (though 1 should be fine for testing it out) and rest are just SRs (3x Field Spell, 3x Snow and 3x Snowy Canvas, and you kinda want these at 3 because they really help you to get going - Aurora and Rainbowed Canvas should be fine at 1x) and w/e staples you decide on.
Outside of the cards mentioned, you probably want Cloud at 2-3, and Rainy Canvas & Thundery Canvas at 1.
Generally yeah but it's less risky with two if someone ends up messing with your ED. But yeah, def. not something worth worrying about when just testing a deck out whether it works for you.

Even more than the shit ending, I think the biggest problem with Arc-V was the synchro arc. They spend the first season assembling probably the most likable cast in the whole franchise and then proceeded to lock them in individual hotel rooms for fricking 50 episodes and barely let them interact with each other at all. It totally killed all the momentum season 1 had built. It was also the least plot relevant dimension. Why did they give it so much time and then force xyz and fusion to share the last 3rd?

This deck is so cool but it genuinely hurts my brain harder than any other pend deck I've tried, when every single card lets you extend and with the option to just recycle the synchro over and over to pile bodies there are so many lines that I can't tell which one is best.
The combos are relatively linear. You just need to decide what endboard you're going for to set up your extra deck for it, but once you make ignister prominence, you can just do full combo. It's not like pendmag or something where you always use your entire hand as a combo piece.

The thing with CR is DL has so much bullshit that they had no choice but to hit URs. With mathmech it's lines are linear as frick they can hit the lower rarity bottlenecks instead. Like if they banned splash mage the deck would have a hard time making transcode without an exceptional hand. Or if you hit the trap the deck loses one of it's best pieces of interaction. Or if you hit sigma circular itself becomes trash. Etc.

And the braceluts got screwed over so badly. The only time you see two of them not in a flashback is when they're being mindcontrolled by a brain parasite that's interestingly enough, referenced in the card that's meant to celebrate them and their decks.

I run them pure with meme cards, so best to check out HIS site.
Ideally you'd have another Moonbow (though 1 should be fine for testing it out) and rest are just SRs (3x Field Spell, 3x Snow and 3x Snowy Canvas, and you kinda want these at 3 because they really help you to get going - Aurora and Rainbowed Canvas should be fine at 1x) and w/e staples you decide on.
Outside of the cards mentioned, you probably want Cloud at 2-3, and Rainy Canvas & Thundery Canvas at 1.

I'll admit the resolution of the show could've been...resolved way better with more detail and seem less lazy rather than just going "4 girls as one and she's dead. 4 guys as one, but 3 are technically dead".
Even more than the shit ending, I think the biggest problem with Arc-V was the synchro arc. They spend the first season assembling probably the most likable cast in the whole franchise and then proceeded to lock them in individual hotel rooms for fricking 50 episodes and barely let them interact with each other at all. It totally killed all the momentum season 1 had built. It was also the least plot relevant dimension. Why did they give it so much time and then force xyz and fusion to share the last 3rd?
