You can, but the Almiraj alone is also fine if you'd rather pack an extra tool in your Nadir toolbox. Almiraj into Gardna is more popular if you run a branded fusion package, which I am not currently using.

If you want to run a cope deck with ligmatika there's shaddoll invoked, normal summon-man has two jobs now and can be normal summoned twice in the same turn. Mechaba remains the fairest omni-negate in the game, but you can shit out borreload savage or dragoon alongside it, not both though since either changes up your main and extra deck.

Synchro seems pretty solid but the token effect of the main deck monster is just okay. Not being able to use it for generic plays hurts it a lot alongside the cost, which is somewhat steep, but having extra material for Pinballer or being able to extend with extra GPs in hand could help. I've only been testing the deck a little bit in EDOPro so far so I'm not sure exactly how this will slot in, but it seems decent enough. Might be worth using it to make the Link 2? Honestly the biggest issue GP has right now is that it's endboards can be just alright even if uninterrupted, and all the LP burn can really hurt you against decks with strong OTK potential that get past your setups. Also, the strategy just doesn't have enough good main deck monsters to work as a standalone strategy. Even with this card we're only at 15 max, and there's no way you'd play 3x Nitro Head.
the most egregous thing about the restriction is that it has a very moronic material restriction (what the frick is that about a xyz, gold pride doesn't even have a rank 5 xyz). At least the fusion material restriction protects you from super-poly I guess

Old YGO had a very amateur style for the cards that resulted in a spooky, creepy feeling, where many cards had just a few things that felt "off" and contributed to the sinister look of monsters like Angel Ears or spells like Nobleman of Extermination.
Modern YGO ironed out a lot of these flaws and cleaned up the art, ultimately resulting in a different look that is smoother and less creepy overall.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it means old YGO art is not possible to replicate to a style that would be approved on new cards (take remake cards in rush for example).
It's a product of a bygone era, the same reason new Pokemon art isn't drawn in soft watercolor with light shading anymore. The artist himself who made those same drawings does not draw like that anymore, even in guest illustrations.
The same is true for YGO, moreso because the creator is dead.
If they just mean the "hurr old yuggy ow was mawnsters new yuggy is e-girl" then they should just let go, it's mostly due to archetypes making oneoffs into full sets and having to compete with games like Pokemon, Duema, etc. being loaded with sex machines.
A lot of YGO artists try to emulate Takahashi's style, you can't take cards like Pankratops or Junk Synchron and say with certainty they weren't designed by Takahashi.
Most of the protagonist stoyline cards, however, are intentionlly designed to be distinct, and that's what people hate. The ghost artist names aren't listed becuse you're supposed to get the idea Takahashi drew everything, as if he were a pen name. It's obvious as frick that's not the case with cards like Traptrix or Prophecy Destroyer.

Visuals in retro games are a good example of this, where people can have their minds blown at the amount of work that went into every pixelated sprite, because they can understand how much work that involves. But the understanding the basics of developing modern 3D visuals requires a lot more background knowledge and can't simply be worked out on the fly while playing game.

Gate Guardian debuted as a 0 UR archetype in the TCG in a rare example of them making a new deck dirt cheap instead of expensive as frick, which seems to have carried to MD with it being a 1 UR deck, 2 if you're fancy. Flame Sword has multiple URs, I hope the MD version is cheaper but not holding my breath.

What you forget is that Arise does have protection in that he can quick banish. The vast majority of monster floods (Winda, Colossus, Dark Simorgh,even Dark Law and Rexterm) are essentially passive
Fat stats, a GY lock and interruption puts Arise above the other floodgate bosses.
It would be pretty bad even if Light Barrier always let you choose the effect, and if that was the case it would be "The World + Light Barrier + whatever engine to put a million monsters on the board to resolve The World"
I simply always open the cards I need. Small World is for players of a lesser skill level, and I commend Konami for catering to them. Yugioh is a game for everyone.

Its a good play, but the Dogmatika ED is very tight so it's not rare to cut Gardna.
You can, but the Almiraj alone is also fine if you'd rather pack an extra tool in your Nadir toolbox. Almiraj into Gardna is more popular if you run a branded fusion package, which I am not currently using.
I still reserve that Nadir Servant is the most fun spell in the entire game. Literally just "pick whatever fricking effect you want my man, also have a monster. The cost? Frick it, it's on the house mate."
This isn't a synergy. Dogmatika does nothing for Live Twin. The only connection they have is one sided and it's "goes into extra deck and makes dark monsters for winda. Is DPE a synergy for every deck because you can make it with Verte? A real synergy was dogmatika invoked shaddoll where each archetype was benefiting or fueling each other.
That is not synergy. Synergy would be Punk Pride where Punks lower your life points allowing Gold Pride to activate their effects without using Better Luck Next Time leaving you with a synchro field with Gold Pride interruptions and follow up.

Hey, some people chose to put Live Twin in Eldlich decks over the floodgates.
If you want to run a cope deck with ligmatika there's shaddoll invoked, normal summon-man has two jobs now and can be normal summoned twice in the same turn. Mechaba remains the fairest omni-negate in the game, but you can shit out borreload savage or dragoon alongside it, not both though since either changes up your main and extra deck.

Synchro seems pretty solid but the token effect of the main deck monster is just okay. Not being able to use it for generic plays hurts it a lot alongside the cost, which is somewhat steep, but having extra material for Pinballer or being able to extend with extra GPs in hand could help. I've only been testing the deck a little bit in EDOPro so far so I'm not sure exactly how this will slot in, but it seems decent enough. Might be worth using it to make the Link 2? Honestly the biggest issue GP has right now is that it's endboards can be just alright even if uninterrupted, and all the LP burn can really hurt you against decks with strong OTK potential that get past your setups. Also, the strategy just doesn't have enough good main deck monsters to work as a standalone strategy. Even with this card we're only at 15 max, and there's no way you'd play 3x Nitro Head.
the most egregous thing about the restriction is that it has a very moronic material restriction (what the frick is that about a xyz, gold pride doesn't even have a rank 5 xyz). At least the fusion material restriction protects you from super-poly I guess

It's just one way of transliterating the name. The TCG made chose Tear instead of Tiara because they're literally having their tears whipped out and gathered up by Reino, and it fits with the emotion theme of the world.
"Tiaraments" is just how it's pronounced in Japanese. The Japanese name is still TEARlaments.

I imagine you'd main deck the kaiju you can search off Qliphort Genius, nix the Santa Claws entirely, play 3x Ghost Ogre or Nibiru main for the mirror, and go down to 1 Regulus to play more Archfiend Eccentric since you can search it off Qliphort Genius if you really want to extend your endboard even further.

Old YGO had a very amateur style for the cards that resulted in a spooky, creepy feeling, where many cards had just a few things that felt "off" and contributed to the sinister look of monsters like Angel Ears or spells like Nobleman of Extermination.
Modern YGO ironed out a lot of these flaws and cleaned up the art, ultimately resulting in a different look that is smoother and less creepy overall.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it means old YGO art is not possible to replicate to a style that would be approved on new cards (take remake cards in rush for example).
It's a product of a bygone era, the same reason new Pokemon art isn't drawn in soft watercolor with light shading anymore. The artist himself who made those same drawings does not draw like that anymore, even in guest illustrations.
The same is true for YGO, moreso because the creator is dead.
If they just mean the "hurr old yuggy ow was mawnsters new yuggy is e-girl" then they should just let go, it's mostly due to archetypes making oneoffs into full sets and having to compete with games like Pokemon, Duema, etc. being loaded with sex machines.
A lot of YGO artists try to emulate Takahashi's style, you can't take cards like Pankratops or Junk Synchron and say with certainty they weren't designed by Takahashi.
Most of the protagonist stoyline cards, however, are intentionlly designed to be distinct, and that's what people hate. The ghost artist names aren't listed becuse you're supposed to get the idea Takahashi drew everything, as if he were a pen name. It's obvious as frick that's not the case with cards like Traptrix or Prophecy Destroyer.

And as a result you see a lot of praise and nostalgia for how a long running franchise was when it was initially conceived. Visuals in retro games are a good example of this, where people can have their minds blown at the amount of work that went into every pixelated sprite, because they can understand how much work that involves. But the understanding the basics of developing modern 3D visuals requires a lot more background knowledge and can't simply be worked out on the fly while playing game.

Flame Sword has multiple URs, I hope the MD version is cheaper but not holding my breath.

I really wish we could get a Spellcaster ROTA, but Exodia makes it very hard. On the other hand, I don't know why wouldn't they just restrict it to Lv4 only.

A non-OPT Spellcaster searcher that can search Exodia pieces would be extremely busted even at 1, because nothing's stopping you from packing cards like Magical Stone Excavation to recycle it.

Has there ever been a weaker meta-warping boss monster than Arise-heart? Zero protection, zero negation, zero floating effects, and no in-archetype way to protect or recur it either and yet Macro Cosmos is just THAT good.
It's more about how easy he is to summon. He's essentially a Link-1. Thunder Dragon Colossus had the same issue.
He's a link 1 if you already summoned then triggered a specific rank 7. His standard summoning condition is much easier to fulfill. Unless you're going second AGAINST Kashtira that is, and in that case it's a good thing.

What you forget is that Arise does have protection in that he can quick banish. The vast majority of monster floods (Winda, Colossus, Dark Simorgh,even Dark Law and Rexterm) are essentially passive
Fat stats, a GY lock and interruption puts Arise above the other floodgate bosses.

ariseheart banishes everywhere which makes it significantly stronger and also removes a good number of counters
