The only reason why TCG banlist is better than OCG banlist is because Called By is at 1 and no one mained Crossout because you need to main shitty 1-of handtrap your opponent might play.

Trying to balance the game based on casual gameplay is moronic. Meta decks can beat your pet deck with just their engine alone. Called by won't suddenly carry your pet deck against a meta deck that opened ash. Meanwhile if your ash get called by'd and your opponent is playing a meta deck the game is already decided because you play with 5 cards against their full board.
Called by the Grave is necessary to prevent Trash Blossom from having a near 100 percent win-rate against pet decks.
If your deck is so bad it loses to 1 Ash in 2024, it deserves to lose. That's not just a petdeck, that's a shitdeck.
Because it's better to play a card that baits the handtrap of your choice when your opponent is on it, but when they don't will contribute to a higher ceiling for your deck. Like in Dogmatika for instance, I play Branded Fusion and I don't give a frick about if you Ash it because I want to resolve my Nadir Servant and Dogmatika Matrix. BF is the ultimate Ash magnet, but if I resolve it I get a free Mirrorjade and it turns on my Ecclesia and Fluer in hand.
Some decks do main Crossout though because they absolutely have to resolve certain cards or they lose. It's just not part of every single deck. Or they use it as a tech choice in the side. Obvious example is Branded needing to resolve Branded Fusion. I remember when people weren't just running Called By and Crossout in Branded but were also using Fusion Deployment to summon Aqua Dolphin to handrip Ash, but also a free Cartesia if they already had Called or Crossout. You see this kind of deck building in most good decks where your engine and non-engine can serve multiple purposes to give a little away to play around handtraps and still make a good board or be a cherry on top.

Post list, I’ve been interested in running a Branded package in Dogmatika for a while but have no idea what the ratios look like
The package is
>3x Branded Fusion
>2x Albaz
>1x Cartesia
>1x Albion
>1x Mirrorjade
>2x Titaniklad
You normally play 1x Titaniklad but 2x becomes necessary with how Mirrorjade works. You can play 1x Titaniklad still, but 2x comes up frequently in any game that you get it. I've also seen people run bigger packages with 1-2 Fusion Deployment for Cartesia (bad in MD because roach even though you still run Granguignol, always) and Branded Regained especially if you also run Bystials. A way to recycle your ED cards is really fricking good so you don't have to play Psyframe Omega. I don't have a list for the current format in either MD or TCG (it was just an easy example for my point), but Dogmatika lists are very boilerplate for their core except for if you play Maximus or not or if Zoa gets played at all or in the side deck. I would always play him in MD as long as he's useful in some common matchups.
I haven't played MD ranked in over a month at this point. Focusing on the TCG again for me was like a cleanse for body and mind. I'd play MD for hours and just get angry and maybe have fun with like 1 out of 30 games but building and testing on EDO and Omega again feels fricking great. I even went to my local's sneak peek for PHNI, attendance was high and everyone is excited about the new format.

You have a general idea of what handtraps are good but unlike the OCG/MD you can't 100% guaranteed know your opponent is on Ash+Roach+CBTG. Requiring you to run 3 Crossout and at least 1 of the handtrap you don't want to resolve is also a hindrance that you'd only do if your REALLY can't afford to lose to like a Nibiru or something. So basically the answer is less handtrap homogeneity and less prevalence of "negate me or lose" in Maxx C.

Mikanko can otk you even if you dont commit ANYTHING. Maybe play against good builds.
It's not that easy to pull off, it's like 3-card combo
It's a 3 card combo with a good amount of searchability for the pieces.
You just need Ohime(ran at 6-9 copies), any maindeck Mikanko/Mayowashidori(5-6 copies), and Double Edge Sword(4 copies if you run Hidden Armory).
And of course if the opponent is stupid enough to pass on nothing twice in a row then you're basically guaranteed to pull it off on your second turn.
Also if they hand trap you then you can revive their hand trap with Fire Dance and kaiju it for an easy OTK.
But those things just help make Mikanko not be 100% terrible. What makes the deck actually kind of OK unlike Numeron is that it has backup plans when the OTK fails, and can actually set up 2-3 interruptions alongside their semi-towers with a decent grind game. Numeron either prays Sunya is enough or goes into something like Apollousa or Megaclops. Both of which turn off their engine so they get walled by a set Maxx C.

Semantics. If you really want to go down that route, no card ends games by itself. Even maxx c does nothing if your opponent keeps playing and you don't draw anything helpful off of it. The point is that super poly makes a significant impact, to the point of heavily reducing the amount of follow up you need.

They're not unplayable without it. Well at least by the standard that they were ever playable. You can't be using Keeper of Dragon Magic as a starter anymore(which was always questionable), and lose Instant Fusion as a starter(which sucks but it was only 1 starter lost), but in most combos there's functionally no difference between searching Instant Fusion to summon Ambulomelides vs summoning him with Ultra Poly then getting your material back for free.
Also the deck is not UR heavy unless maybe you count Super Poly. You don't need any of the UR Predaplant cards and even if you choose to run them they're 1-ofs. It's pretty budget if you just want a playable OTK deck that's legal in most low powered events.
Eh? It looks like every list at least runs Triphoverutum or whatever it was called, and 3 other preda URs. I tried making a budget version without them and just threw in what I had (Predapower and one of the pend UR fusions) and it didn't get off the ground.
You absolutely need Triphyoverutum, he's your main wincon alongside Triantis, but he's SR. I personally like running Chimeraflesia, but it rarely comes up. Verte comes up even more rarely since you usually lock yourselves into fusions before he would come up, and Predapower is super disappointing since he just requires way too many resources to be worth summoning without a godhand considering you can instead be setting up something like Dragostapelia+Predaplanning+maybe Triphyoverutum if you want to over commit and superpoly if you have a great hand.
The thing about unpopular pet decks like this is that you really can't trust random lists you find online since they're usually people winging it by throwing in every option.

I have Verte but I heard the deck doesn't even run him. I've never successfully used Verte itself though, the only deck I put it in was Trickstar in a desperate attempt to try using the fusion.
You don't need Chimeraflesia. Look at what it actually does. It's a conditional non-quick effect monster banish that can't target xyz, or link monsters and maybe an effective 4.5k beater. That's not important in the deck that can instead summon two 12k beaters with piercing and just kill the opponent. I played the deck through several events and climbing through plat a couple times when I let myself fall down there, and I've gotten FAR more use out of that card as a Dogmatika Punishment target in Lair as the world's slowest Super Poly searcher.
Well shid, maybe my build was just bad. Or I'm bad at playing it. I couldn't do anything without drawing Super Poly.
Yeah predapower is too expensive to make, but if you run branded fusion you can get 3 fusions: send albaz + light hex seal to make albion into lubellion into albion. Also fusion gate + despias is funny.

Once per turns and your normal summon are the main limits, yeah. The game is """balanced""" around hand traps being able to stop your opponent's combos on their first turn, powerful blowout cards existing, and that you're able to use good cards that can do a lot too.

EDOPro AIs are pretty rigid. You have to hardcode the flowchart and decision making for them. What they showed earlier is something that can be trained with machine learning.

Sinful spoil lets you send a card from field (usually the diabellstar you just summoned) and then special summon a level 1 fire monster from deck. Then when in graveyard you can banish wanted to draw 1 card.
Theres a fire king target, a rescue ace target, and jet synchron notable and a few other things.
Wanted is a ROTA that draws you a card and gets you diabellestar which is a free summon that searchs a Etele that summons a lvl 1 fire.
She made Rescue Ace and Fire King meta by giving any deck with a Level 1 Fire monster an extra up to 9 copies of their starters
It's allows every deck to have access to an omni negate or make baron.
