Who the frick wants a handheld that big though? Just use a laptop if you want portability. If you have more free time than a laptop battery would allow, then you don't really need portable gaming.

Its the proper size for people with adult hands.

A laptop is not, and will never be, a handheld. They also cost a lot more and take up quadruple the space.

It's comfy in bed you idiot
      A laptop isn't comfy
I don't think the majority of Vita or 3DS owners played them while out and about, they played them at home.
It's size isn't really an issue, if you own a switch with HORI Split Pad Pro attached it's the same size

I have one and honestly it's a bit heavy but the weight is distributed fairly well. Best so far is using it while reclining back in a chair or even laying flat in bed. Oddly it's easier to hold the Deck above my head than it is to use it in my lap and wrench my neck looking down at it, that'd prob just my posture though.

You can also prop it up and use a regular controller, I do this in hotels a lot.

It is not that big. It can be fit comfortably up your ass.

Honestly his muscles actually pronounced how tiny his hands were which made him look even more silly.

Suspend/resume, FOR PC GAMES, is probably the best feature of the Steam Deck and one chinkshit can only dream of.

I just bought switch a few days ago because it's smaller, has better battery life and has the same good games.

think they should size the hardware down to just be able to play indie games
it's a waste of material to make it play AAA games, that makes no sense for a handheld

they could make it so much lighter and cheaper

Nothing saying Steam Deck Lite can't come out, I can even see them reviving Steam Machine given how well the Deck works. Only reason the Machines flopped is because the software wasn't there yet, now everything Just Werkz with minimal quirks

Go play OpenTTD, Factorio or Dominions 5 on a small screen and see how playable that is.
