though honestly if you know any indie open world games that are on par with BotW or TotK please share. Mini overworld puzzles everywhere is really growing on me.

Sounds pretty on par with a $70 DLC and a 200 million dollar WEG. In fact it sounds way better.
Zelda will win the most GOTY awards, but BG3 will take a chunk of them away from Zelda.
I'm expecting a split where Zelda gets around 2/3 of the GOTY awards and BG3 gets the remaining third.

I didn't like the game that much, to me the most interesting part was the whole LEGO thing, but as a PS5 owner I must admit that Zelda is taking GOTY this year.
Zelda will win this year. The new 3D Mario will win next year and Prime 4 will win in 2025

Nobody really talks about this game anymore, because there is nothing to talk about. It's more of BotW with some cool gimmicks but nothing groundbreaking. Wake me up when they finally drop shrines and Koroks.

It's amazing how quickly the general perception of this game sank from "PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT THIS FOR YEARS, HOW DID NINTENDO PULL THIS OFF? BETTER THAN BOTW!" to...well, who's even talking about it anymore? Personally I don't dislike it, but my own honeymoon period for the game ended far quicker than my BOTW honeymoon period did.
