Not being developed by tri-ace.
The visuals look bland and inconsistent (what's with the black outlines for characters?)
Combat is also now a generic 3D action game instead of the more unique & expressive 2d beat em up combo system.
It just feels a huge step down in every aspect from VP 2.
I don't know what square was thinking with this whole project.
Square was thinking that VP clones like Indivisible and Super Neptunia RPG tanked really hard which means no one really liked that gameplay formula and the real appeal of VP was the characters/setting.
The characters and setting are just as vital as the gameplay for the series dna.
Indivisible was also a pretty shit game all around and I was very disappointed by how shallow the combat was. VP2 had so much going on and I always felt like I was learning something new to exploit.
Square has been on a long war path with anything remotely turnbased for bigger releases. But I don't think turning every IP into a generic hack & slash is the right path.
This does retain some elements from the prior games, but it just doesn't feel that fleshed out or well integrated from the footage we got so far. Maybe they can pleasently surprise me, but I'm not getting my hopes up much.

Dragon Quest XI
Octopath Traveler
Bravely Default II
FF pixel remasters
DQ3 HD remake
Is Nep really a VP clone?
I might try get through the characters for it.

Even Plume got this right. I really liked Wylfred's tragedy and the characters / intrigue along the way. It was really nice to see the gods machinations from the human level.
Obvious shovelware by Square Enix that looks and plays like generic shit. You could tell by these bland graphics and homogenized gameplay system that no one on the production team gave two fricks about VP.
Soleil being the developer with not much under their belt was probably not a good idea from square enix. Their samurai jack game was fun, but they're not cut out for something like this.

Only this one game.
I'm not feeling the combat. It might be the trailer but she was missing her attack during the trailers. Her lips are too sexy for us.
This. And also the character designs.
holy shit that's bad.
>Not being developed by tri-ace.
That really doesn't matter.
Is this good? Never heard of it.
i havent either but its probably not
The game is not out yet moron.
Anyway, seems to play more like Code Vein, which is good. A casual souls-like with waifus is always a welcome surprise.
DEAD ON ARRIVAL
kino nose
I want to kiss those lips

>Valkyrie Profile
>one of the greatest JRPGs of its time
>gets a bunch of follow-up games and they're all complete trash
>Valkyria Chronicles

Hmmm...
The psp was good though.
Yeah, because it was literally just a port of the original game.
It looks like a retooled mobile game.
are you a fricking moron
cute gril
>Zero coom material
What happened to the coom army?
not enough boobie windows and ass shots imo
Not using the subject line should be a bannable offensive.
