Zoom Zoom cannot into Piracy

How do you guys pirate everything you play? I tried downloading Elden Ring, but it was both a hassle to set up and the download speeds were miserable. I was afraid of going through all that work just to frick it up because I didn't edit the files correctly

I was doing direct download before since everyone says torrenting requires a VPN. Can I get away with torrenting raw?

what's so hard about inserting the crack into the game's library?

Direct Download requires some extra steps at the end like Steam Cleaning and finding a steam emulator. I think I picked the harder method

is direct download any better? what's your guarantee that your ip won't be logged and confiscated by investigators?

Direct download supposedly doesn't have the same risk due to being hosted or something? As long as the person who posted it is trustworthy then you're supposedly in the clear

Depends if you are torrenting abandonware games that are not on the market or not sold in your country, things like Elden Ring and shit might get your ISP triggered if you live in non-piracy (for personal use) friendly country like US or UK.

Your ISP will email you if you rawdog a torrent, first time is usually a warning. If you don't want to commit to a year, just sign up for a month of whatever VPN and get as much downloaded in that time as possible.

Fuuuuck. I guess it's fine if I do it once since it'll just be a warning. I'll get aa VPN if this first attempt goes well

              >and emails you.
They're just trying to scare you. Every lawyer will tell you there is zero (0) legal basis for them to take you to court.

                holy shit
Let me put it this way
direct downloading = ISP gives no fricks unless it's CP or something and even then, they'd have to be informed most likely
A torrent is literally a file that has a bunch of data that says 'moronic homosexual zoomer wants to download this file, share it with them' and then all the other homosexual zoomers upload it to you while you download. The problem is a torrent can be tracked and people like to send out letters to ISP saying 'at 4pm on may 1st, the following IPs (hint yours is in there) downloaded/uploaded the following torrent of which we own the copyright to. Either remove their access or we sue you for allowing piracy on your ISP'
So they send you a letter

DD is safer and usually faster but riskier as if the download stops, a lot of sites don't let you download it from the point you had, you need to start over.
Hint: use jdownloader for the direct downloads

                >first time is usually a warning
FUD homosexual have a nice day. EVERY time is a warning, they have nothing on you. ISPs don't give a frick, scaring away customers is bad for business.

Nah a lot of ISPs will cut you off. Some countries just let them send out warnings since it's not really possible to prove an IP = used by you outside of a police investigation

It'll rape your computer when it's unpacking. Literally. If your setup is shit you won't be using it for a few hours. It's just how repacks work

That said, onedrive links don't work with jdownloader and cannot be resumed so while it would in theory be the fastest, if you're likely to drop internet a lot, I'd avoid it as the first one is quite a lot. Also do one file at a time. Doing them all will cause problems
