No, it was considered good back then because it was released during the cRPG drought, same with NWN2. After the cRPG revival it has nothing at all going for it.
>because of how bad things really are right now
You know what? I've recently played Kingdom of Amalur Reeeee-Reckoning which was never considered good. And I was surprised how much I've enjoyed it. The genre is truly in a morbid state.
It’s so fucking ugly and clunky. It was fine for the time but that era of the 360 really aged poorly. I wish it played like a classic isometric crpg so it would actually be playable today.
>It was fine for the time but that era of the 360 really aged poorly.
Even back then they could've designed armours and weapons that don't look like complete ass, but what do you expect from a bunch of Canadian trannies and gays?
bioware isn't good unless they're making a licensed game and the license holder is telling them to settle the fuck down and follow some consistent rules that have been established by the setting
Tell it to me straight. Are they giving it the Mass Effect treatment and remastering it? I know they will probably ruin it but I just want to experience it again. It's my very first wRPG.
No I can't play the old copy because my PS3 is dead and I don't have a PC.
It isn't a zoomercore game you dumb retard.
It quite literally is, zoomie
wrong
>babby's first cRPG
zillenialcore. New gen of zoomers who we bullied now played shit like Kingdom Come or some indie Souls shit in their adolescent years.
>zillenialcore
Go back
It was a run of the mill generic RPG that is now considered great today because of how bad things really are right now.
Absolutely fucking correct

It was the best rpg of the time and was highly praised. You wouldn't know because you weren't even born when it came out.

The absolute state of zoomers
But it's a good game? And what does this have to do with Zoomers.
It was
zoom zoom
Zoomers will never have a woman like this in their games
I only played the game cause there were like two nsfw mods on nexus. wasn't especially impressed with the story though

uhh dragonage origins is a great rpg. why spamming so many crpg threads at once op? fishing for responses??
zoomers would never play old games, unless its cashgrab remakes, bro
>2009
>old game
zoomer pls.
Yeah, 20 year old games are considered old.
Tis cold in thy tent, anon.
Tell it to me straight. Are they giving it the Mass Effect treatment and remastering it? I know they will probably ruin it but I just want to experience it again. It's my very first wRPG.

No they are working on DA4.
If they ever remaster DA:O they'll probably make Morrigan wear a hijab and Leliana comes out as trans
🙁 there's a lot of things the'll probably censor yeah. Like the female demon and the forest spirit.
At least Inquisition was still ok but I'm not holding my breath for DA4.
>I'm not holding my breath for DA4.
Not after that leaked clip of combat anyway.
Dragon Age Origins is literally the only time an AAA game has somewhat successfully felt like an RPG.
What's with all the hate all of a sudden? Probably the last great AAA story based RPG
