I'm playing BotW for the first time ever on the deck and it's amazing.
Never used a switch emulator before.
I have no idea where to get the fricking iso or whatever. Is there an app to download or something?
It's the Wii U version in CEMU, Switch emulators suck ass right now.
You can get CEMU on Deck either by installing Emudeck which is the easiest way, or manually installing it via Proton.
Honestly, Wii U games are kind of a pain in the ass to get running regardless of platform. Most torrents come in encrypted format and need to be unencrypted before you can play them. You also need to install update files, which also come encrypted. It's confusing at first but once you understand it it's not so bad.

Understandable. I wish it was set up like 99% of other emulators where you just open a ROM or ISO but I guess Nintendo went ham on encryption and security and shit on the Wii U + Switch.

Use CEMU for BOTW, runs better than the switch emulator
Get the emulator from the discover store, it should be already installed and available through desktop mode
You'll also need an iso - pirate it from emuparadise or romheaven or any other website that seems at least halfway legit
Lastly, you'll need BIOS files. Get those from the internet, you'll often see yt videos "how to install emulator" linking those
That's the way to set up all emulators under the sun, except Retroarch because they're special snowflakes that need their own UI and way of setting up the emulation

My family has a beach house and we fly there almost every weekend from like April to November. Its an hour flight, but that adds up over the course of the year. Plus sometimes I'm sick and just want to play in bed with my cat and not have to get up to my PC

Deckbros, how do I get my pirated copy of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 to work? All the tutorials say to use Heroic Launcher to boot the game with Wine, but there's no way in hell I'm making an EGS account and paying $60 for games that are more than 15 years old. I tested the game on my Windows desktop so I know it's just a Linux issue.
are the pirated one just exes? you can tell them its a non steam game and have them run through proton, not sure if it'll work but worth a try over installing epic launcher shit
Kingdom Hearts on PC is weird, it's an .exe that launches other .exes. I added the main 1.5+2.5 launcher to Steam, but when I try to launch an actual game it just kicks me back out. Adding the individual game .exes didn't help either, they don't even open. I'm using the newest proton build on all of the files.
