Story is sadly overall worse especially the finale. But everything else is better (OST, somniums, character models etc.). If you really liked the first one then you will enjoy AI2 too. I recommend skimming through a playthrough. But dont get too far or you will get spoilered.

I liked it better but they're pretty comparable overall. Most somniums are great.
