Might wanna use a pic that implies "immersive" a mii standing next to a couple of stock assets in gm_flatgrass implies the opposite of "immersive". Can FB really not afford to commission a decent map designer?
his eyes are as scary as they are in real life so they did a great job
The problem is that's made with Meta's horrible avatar maker, which can only make soulless husks like that, and you're kind of forced to use it once because it autogenerates an abomination that you need to overwrite because you'd never want to see it again.
gm_flatgrass is peak SOUL compared to whatever the frick this is. For one, it has shading, a skybox, and textures.
your picrel is fricking soulless
THIS is the real gm_flatgrass
>That concrete pad that feels like it contains so much wonder
aaaaaaaa take me back
Cell Games is looking good.

That guy is his own alternate.

>inb4 bad graphics
They got zuk's uncanny valley tier appeareance down pat
I love how they really captured his hairline.
I like how the entire thing really looks like an intentional joke. Like they deliberately designed the whole thing with a mindset of "imagine if you were a normal human and wanted to look at something that normal human beings normally like".
Incredible, he's just as terrifying to look at as the actual person
Gaudi Cathedral is, and will always be, a meme
I will never understand Catholics and their need to have 10 churches per square kilometer. I passed like 6 from my hotel to the meme church and the first thing I listen from the audioguide is that Gaudi thought that Barcelona didn't have enough of them.
>I will never understand Catholics and their need to have 10 churches per square kilometer.
Catholics used to have a rule that there should always be a church within walking distance. Why? Because most people of the era didn't own a horse. Or a carriage. Or could task anyone to help carry them to church if they were old/feeble. The idea being that the people who needed the services of the church the most may not even be able to leave their home. Or at the very least wouldn't find the time to leave their duties at work or at home to go to church every Sunday.
Who the frick doesn't own a horse? Why are we catering to the weird 2% of the population that doesn't have at least one horse? They can Uber a horse if it's that important to them.
But isn't God everywhere?
Yes but he's more present in the building where the youth pastor is molesting so many children because reasons.
To Catholics, yes. But this was during a time the literacy rate was 30% at best, breaking 60% during the Renaissance. Even if you owned a bible, you needed someone to read it to you.
And it didn't just stop at the Bible, if you had tax forms, important contracts, documents you needed to own and keep like deeds; you needed someone who was a neutral party that would not frick you in the ass to read it to you. Or someone who at least would face consequences for violating a moral code. That someone was a pastor, most of the time, who used to be considered a moral pillar of any community.
To be fair, if someone wanted to get to church in medieval or renaissance europe, there were groups who would specifically go together every Sunday.
>autist architect is objectively wrong
Many such cases
Does Zuck know something we don't, or is he so out of touch that he doesn't realize that nobody wants to wear one of those headsets for more than 20 minutes at a time?
Of course he knows more than you.
Silicon Valley is a bubble. It didn't used to be this way, but it has slowly, over time, become an impenetrable fortress of groupthink that has pushed some of the dumbest tech trends imaginable in hopes people will pick it up and run with it. Sometimes they strike gold. Other times you get cringe shit like ThE MeTaVeRsE.
It's true VR has a bright future ahead of it, but shit that looks like a lamer version of Roblox ain't it.
Nah, the past year of him running Facebook into the ground is proof he's just an idiot who got exceptionally lucky. Most of FB's success was its value as a tool to the US government, who kept it afloat, not necessarily as a socila media platform.
I think Facebook is unpopular because it's only used by old people now. No one in their 30s or younger is using it because it's pretty uncool and was losing ground since the late 2010s.
yeah, facebook is the geriatric social network
had an account when i was a teenager but the demographic shifted hard
t. zoomzoom
The fact that facebook "died" probably means that no social media can ever truly live forever which is a good thing at least.
Don't they just change names and bam, they are the SN of the week?
>I think Facebook is unpopular because it's only used by old people now.
refusing to change to an expanding market is one reason, the other reason is that they've burned basically all of their good will. The attempt to shift to VR and Meta is reaching, at best. It only makes sense if you are surrounded by yes-men who go to trade shows every year and see what VR COULD do: which is attract tons of young people who think of VR as the hip new thing. Reality is that most young people only care about VR insofar as how many anime women they can frick.
I am factually correct and zuck Black folk are furiously seething at watching him burn his company to the ground with ThE MeTaVeRsE. In 20 years Facebook will only be remembered as that company who recorded the highest gross market cap loss of any company in a single fiscal year.
dum dum post
It’s basically meta’s only chance at surviving the next 10-20 years, that’s why they’re in with everything
They need to be apple, they need to sell you the hardware and the software because their apps are losing relevancy very fast and other companies are blocking meta spying capabilities
he's a big guy
I know Forbidden West was divisive but I didn’t think the series would get THIS bad.
can't even have a furry avatar
I wonder what worlds will "people" make
Facebook’s audience is old people, normalgays and redditors whose activity in this Metaverse is probably shown to all live on their page so they won’t make or participate in fetish worlds, I can’t even imagine what they’d do except just muck around in premade virtual cities that look like the versions of them from Mario Kart Tour for a few minutes before getting bored and going back to their feed. Metaverse has nothing to offer.
what I've see there are actual roblox style games you can do, but it runs in the Quest2 hardware so I don't think it even supports textures
Wow, even Roblox games look better than this.
>sand necktie
Damn zuck is brutal
can't look at panties when there's no lower body
>Hispanic NIGG ISLAND
this game better end up on pc. real shame for it to be trapped on console forever
i dont know a single person that gives a frick about zucks 2nd life clone
It looks similar to the VR app the Toky game show used and browser based door.ntt, maybe Zuck has contracts with gamedevs or something to make a E3 in vr
looks like PS Home
It's literally just entirely sigma grindset indians. The entire userbase is a handful of bored ghetto porch monkeys and kids with shitty parents that let them interact with said porch monkeys.
Seeing reptile man's VR plans go down the drain is delicious. The less power these actual demons have the better.
