the nature simulation aspect is the best part of the game
If you guys get bored that much you can play alone online, it's a great experience
you didn't like the horse balls? anon-kun are you okay?!
It is clear OP doesn't appreciate the finer things.
>horse doesn't piss or get a boner when he sees a mare
bad game
yes I would like painfully easy "cinematic" gun fights and grabbing food from counters one at a time, please
ughh sorry i fell asleep
>looks at game
>they're still driving horse and talking
By being white
Enjoyed more by browns and blacks
I didn't. I looked at the low content density and low mission count and the gameplay that plays itself and didn't even pirate it
I genuinely fell asleep on my chair while waiting for one of those horse cutscenes while characters talk to finish.
I realized this shit wasn't fricking worth it, it's such a fricking slog and uninstalled it and didn't bother with it for years.
I recently tried again but it was the same shit, i even tried to mod it so gameplay was a bit faster and crazier but man the fricking talking cutscenes will put you to fricking sleep.
You wouldn't get it.
Everything fun about the game is in the open world. The open world IS the game. If you aren't finding the fun there you might be moronic, because I had a blasty-blast.
Meh palworld is better
>the open world IS the game
and that's part of the reason why the industry went to the gutter. open world is not gameplay, it's a set piece
>If you aren't finding the fun there you might be moronic
Don't get me wrong, I like the game, it's comfy and atmospheric
But holy fricking shit are you the moronic one if you dont get bored real quick just trapsing around the open world in RDR2, non of the open world minigames are particularily engaging, and the exploration gets boring real quick (there's like nothing to find)
You can fix it somewhat with mods but that's neither there nor here
>there's like nothing to find
come on man don't be dishonest
>Ah! A snake bit me!
>Help! I’m being kidnapped!
Yeah, tons of fun waiting to be discovered.
You forgot the dude in a bear trap!
>my horse died!
>please can you take me 50 miles in the other direction?
>rewards: nothing
there are like 100 exactly same side quests in this stupid game.
There's a bunch of cool creepy shit you can find
not really, no.
its like fallout 3 "its not shit there is cool shit you can find!" and it turns out its a:
>skeleton in a bathtub
whoa so creepy, muh environmental storytelling.
god i hate this game with a seething passion, but only because i bought it.
if i pirated that trash years ago, i wouldnt b***h and moan about it, but i actually forked money for this shit, and im butthurt about it.
isn't rdr2 just a bigger rdr?
Nope. RDR was fun.
they are exactly the same
You didn't play RDR.
yes but old good new bad
My first playthrough was highly enjoyable.
I dropped out quickly on the scond one, and now I'm on a third attempt, but the hunting, robbing and fishing just don't do it for me anymore. I'm not sure what happened.
Do a low honor or a high honor playthrough
>filters zoomers
>Main game was so bad they couldn't even keep RDO alive
It looks good, the fauna is pretty cool too, but actually PLAYING it feels like a chore. Like looking at a woman that's pretty but you know she's extremely shallow.
>no undead nightmare
0/10
Some weeks ago I tried RDR before getting to RDR2 and couldn't finish it. Not sure what to say other than the game feels repetitive and the gameplay doesn't feel engaging enough, it's like a dumbed down version of GTA.
What are the chances I'll enjoy RDR2 if I didn't like RDR?
Basically none.
>it's like a dumbed down version of GTA.
ironic since rdr 1 and 2 have a million more things to do in them than the gta games
It's rare cowboy kino, I wish there were more games that took place in the wild west.
Gun > grand theft cowboy
I don't disagree, but I've already played the shit out of Gun.
I pirated it but it kept crashing every hour or so. It was boring so I didn't bother fixing it or finding a stable crack.
if you pirated it as soon as it came out that was a known issue should be fixed now in pretty much every crack
It wasnt near release. I guess fitgirl is just shit and didn't update?
Only mistake was not making it an RPG. Would have been so much better.
Really disappointed with how badly they fricked up the immersion in a game that was clearly designed for it. Too many damn menus, an over-dependence on the minimap for missions, and the butchered hunting. They really could have done a lot more.
for me i just can't enjoy it due to how poor the control responsiveness is
you're battling with it incessantly, it's abhorrent. literally not 10 minutes go by where things just go smoothly. i can't stand it
this was a screenshot simulator, not a game.
ive never been so bored in my life when playing a video game.
maybe except baldurs gate 3 and elden ring.
The first game was a fun cowboy simulator, I skipped every cutscene. Having weapons tied to your horse seems kind of gay and moronic so I'm not going to play this game.
