Only when I REALLY like a game and going for 100% doesn't make me hate it. If the 100% has shit like "collect all 256 blue nails hidden in the level geometry" then it can frick off
First thing I do on any console or on Steam is to turn off all achievement notifications.
I don't need a carrot on a stick to enjoy something... I actually enjoy the thing.
>go for achievements for some fun >last 3 games I've played bugged out and didn't register any of the achievements I've earned
I don't know why I even bother.
I rarely do but Hitman WoA is my current white whale that im focusing on, there is a lot to do and getting a hardcore run done in Freelancer is wiener and ball torture (it took me 70 hours just to complete a normal run)
some games have a good set of achievements that mostly have to do with just doing shit in game...collecting a bunch of stuff, etc.
but when they put the "hit 8 enemies with 1 grenade" crap like they do in every FPS game they can frick off
same with "never get hit ever" or "beat this game in speedrun time"...these are better as self-imposed challenges as the average player doesn't give a frick about ironmans or speedruns.
but all in all, achievements are better left as simple statistics in a menu in the game. The concept of them being outside the game is stupid, and makes them feel generic and pointless. Moreover, due to this "outside of game" location, they rarely reward the player with anything in-game. It's a very lazy way of "rewarding" the player with nothing.
No but I am a virtual hoarder and collector, which I think is a similar feel.
I like to have one of every item type, including weapons and armor. So I go out of my way to even collect armor sets and weapons I don't use. I keep at least one of the basic b***h healing items from the start of the game. Shit like that.
During the 360 era, yes.
What made you stop?
I had sex
b***d
why did you censor b***d
it does that jingle on normal mode nowadays
it's not the same sound
If I like a game yeah. Some of these I regret but whatever.
>Some
You should regret all of these, holy shit
I don't
I didn't it was fun
Youtube
Two questions
>1 how much did you hate doing HZD?
>2 how did you complete god of war 2 challenge of titans? that fricking last one man
Sure. It's fun. Apart from that level 100 Tony Hawks trophy bullshit.
>download steam achievement unlocker
>look like epic gamer
>all achievements unlocked at the exact same timestamp with low hours played
>everyone knows you cheated
Who cares what other people think?
him apparently if he's trying to look like an epic gamer
>wojakslop
Only for games I genuinely enjoy.
I completed Persona 5 three times to 100% it
Yes, before achievements.
only if i like the game and even then some achievements are fricking moronic and never do them

Sadly yes but I’m starting to care more about in game challenges since every achievement is lE wAcKy dO sOmEtHiNg RaNdUM
Unfortunately.
I have 98.5% completion rate. I can't remember what it is on Xbox but 1000 without DLC in most cases.

I just can't leave a game unfinished
Do white people really?

I'm 26. I have thousands upon thousands of achievements and trophies across gaming platforms. I have never touched a woman.
I launch Steam through Big Picture when playing singleplayer games just so I get the achievement jingle when I get a cheevo
My only 100%
yeah, but only if the game is fun
I have double the perfect games than the OP image
I'm also older
>finish main quest/story
>completely drop the game
>loose all interest and even refuse to ever touch it again
I can't stand the idea of playing the same game after knowing the ending.
