Viola will be marketed as the new protagonist and she'll show up on the box cover and all the promotional material of the game and then Bayonetta will show up part way through the game, probably as some big surprise she'll show up in the middle of a fight that Viola is struggling with to give a hand. Then we'll see some flashbacks of when she was in hell and we'll probably get to playthrough the flashback of her busting out of hell.

I dunno if you’ve ever done ADR or anything but between multiple takes, flubbed lines, getting everything set up and lord knows what unexpected problems, I think a few hours is a good estimate

The problem is that as far as voice work is concerned, she's absurdly efficient, while other VAs often have to do two or three takes, she does most on her first try, so even for a game full of cutscenes like Bayo 2, she usually finishes in 2 sessions at most. However VAs are paid by work ours, not USABLE work hours, so her being efficient actually screws up her pays, she basically gets punished for being efficient and has a reason to think she doesn't get paid enough.

Damage G&G until roughly 30% hp (you'll see their armor break) equip kulshedra and durga on feet, lock on to one and pull him, jump, pull him, jump, etc until you're safely up in the air. If you want, you can go into Crow Within until that runs out, or mash the shoot button to slow bayo's fall. Very easy to consistently PP once you know this and it's what I do in PP speedruns.

Did any Luka besides Viola's dad and the main one actually seal the deal? None of them are show up during all the universe hopping. Plus Jeanne was Arch Eve of Egypt until the last moment. Despite the names I don't think the titles have barring on their relationship. Not to mention they all combined into one Luka so that would have separated them each from their own Bayonetta just to hook up with B3.

Beat the game, not sure if I think it's better than 1 yet but I think it's on par, I'll have to replay it more. It's certainly better than 2, I don't get all of the complaints about demon slave "ruining" the combat, once I got the hang of it I really loved the feel of switching between summoning and attacking, felt natural and fun. Viola was neat too but Chesire is just too easy to abuse, they probably shouldn't have let you gain magic while you have him out.
As for story who cares lol Bayonetta taking off her classes was most kino moment in the game, still think 1 has the best story but I really liked 3's character dynamics

the thing I hate about demon slave is how you don't have immediate feedback for what you're doing with the summons because they're so slow and clunky and literally detached from you, you can't even tell what move they're doing without a stupid button prompt on the screen
bayonetta was always great because of how much control you had over everything you were doing at all times, demon slave as a mechanic just shits all over that and clumsily queuing up moves for a big frick in the middle of actual bayonetta gameplay just feels like shit
astral chain did this whole idea much better because the legions are snappy to control and work in tandem with you instead of feeling like they're awkwardly shoved into a game where they don't fit
also none of the summons even feel satisfying, they just make everything a clusterfrick and don't really have anything cool they can do

It's why I just equipped the thing that automatically does their moves and lets you move around. It doesn't solve the issues with screen filling stuff but it makes them way more usable in situations where you NEED to use them.
The AI seems to use all their moves pretty good for the most part too.

You can, in fact, input new summon commands while offsetting bayo's combo. It's easiest when offsetting with umbran spear.
I think you're SUPPOSED to Queue up attacks and keep your magic up while they're attacking. Problem is that it does interrupt the flow and the only demon I've been able to keep attacks queued and fight at the same time is Umbra Tower.

In Bayo 1 she would let her hair down on boss fights instead of having them on her arms.
In 2 that kind of got turned into Umbra Climax and requires you to use magic meter to use. In 3 there's not really an equivilent. In exchange she can use demons to attack instead of just Climax attacks.
