Also expect slavery allegory, Black magic sword singing, and Redguards leaning heavily into a arab/egyptian cultural mix even though blacks belong to neither.
Hammerfell will also be strangely homogenous compared to previous provinces

I have no idea what you're trying to say here but you're a fake fan. Redguards have always actually had an arab/Egyptian edge to them.in the lore. Man you have plenty you could be worried about and then you choose the thing that ACTUALLY is a thing. Lmfao this board man

mostly just architecture. their culture is basically japanese.

Islam was the predominant religion in Africa for centuries, especially before the international slave trade kicked off

Being a muslim does not magically make your culture more arabic, just as converting africans to christianity didn't make them more european.
Blacks culture being mixed with an arabic culture is an american phenomenon created by blacks converting to islam and trying to appropriate arab culture as the tribal shit in sub saharan africa is too cringe even for them.
It's the whole black hebrew thing but with less ridicule because americans think north africa and the ivory coast is basically the same shit

            >Being a muslim does not magically make your culture more arabic
it quite literally does. arabic culture diffused all across ssa. west african writing is wholly derived from the arabic script.

The idea that the most populous region with the largest armies and largest bureaucracy would exist in an area that is predominantly jungle is moronic, all large empires have sprung from temperate or semi arid regions

Yeah this always bothered the hell out of me but I figured there was just something I misunderstood about logistics. I can't imagine marching armies around to patrol your jungle nation.

Rice paddies, navigable rivers, mages and dragons is good enuff

              Anonymous

If you're going to have rice paddies you need to clear forestation, meaning it wouldn't be a jungle anymore.
The largest rice producing territory in the world is temperate in climate and almost completely deforested.

I don't see why the fertile part can't look like this, fringed by forest which transitions into jungle

                Anonymous

Because forests and jungles are not good for growing rice. You ideally want them as far away from one another as possible.

                Anonymous

Fine? They cleared forest from a suitable area to grow rice and created imperial rice paddies to feed the Imperial City, what's the problem? Jungle can still exist in this multi-biome province

                Anonymous

The problem is that you can't grow rice very well next to a forest or jungle. And you said we should grow the rice next to forests and jungles.

There are still other issues like where are you going to house the large population? How are you going to maneuver your forces?
How do you keep your vassals loyal?
There's a reason why the vast majority of the Chinese population and its power has always been in the north.

                Anonymous

The Northern Chinese got toppled by Jurchens and Steppe peoples. I don't care to play GRRM neckbeard games in an effort to reimagine Oblivion not looking like Shrek 2.
None of this is any more ridiculous than the finalised Cyrodil, where the Imperial City is still flanked by forest, it doesn't even fill the island it's situated on and there are inadequate ports and farmland.
It's a mixed race city with no slums, or minor cults and religions. Everyone worships the 9 all humdrum and tweelala.
It's the worst Rome ever envisioned LMAO

    The most hilarious and Bethesda thing that could happen is as follows ;
    >they spend the next few years making es6 the most outrageously woke game of all time
    >they do this thinking being in the Redguard's province is perfect for this and that their image will be saved after starfield
    >however by the time es6 comes out 5-6 years from now, the cultural zeitgeist has moved on from wokeness
    >popular opinion with normies is now that wokeness and pandering are soulless things causing more trouble than they fix
    >Bethesda gets slammed for the most outdated, unbelievably racist and provoking video games of the time
    Its too perfect

Let's be real. Hammerfell and Highrock (or parts of it) are probably the best regions for ES6. You can do so much shit with the lore, form the early Akaviri invasions, to Dwemer shit, Sload, Sea Elves, and even maybe some shit around the Orcs trying to build their own kingdom from within the province. There's a shit ton to build on, and it could be really fascinating if done well. But of course this is Bethesda, so expect the most boring, soulless incarnation yet, with a bland and uninspired story.

      Anonymous

They tend to put out something super bland and then say "ermmm, the authors of the ingame books who said all that stuff before were LYING or just exaggerating is all"
Akaviri stuff is a good example

      Anonymous

They won't put Akavirishit into the next game. That is the one part of the law that they are forbidden to touching or elaborating on.
