Does EXAPUNKS require a manual to be printed off in the same way TIS-100 or SHENZEN I/O does?

The manual is required to understand the game, yes. You don't have to actually print it. Exapunks is the best Zachlike by the way. Hope you enjoy it. I only wish the custom levels had some better visuals.
Oh, I logged into the game and couldn't find one immediately. I plan on printing & stapling them sticking them in a binder for my playthroughs (I just like the idea of it. I think it's neat.) I guess I'll check the website.
I did the same for Heroes of Might & Magic 3.
I don't think they're on the website
in fact I think you have to unlock them through playing, certainly the 2nd one
Oh, that's a bit odd. I guess I'll just start with T100 & S IO
>Exapunks is the best Zachlike by the way.
utterly filtered by Shenzhen
I was actually, yes. Mainly because the manual is esoteric and confusing. Exapunks just feels better to play for me. Luv me little bots.
give it another chance sometime. it's true that the manual messes with you a bit, for better or worse, but i'm sure you could enjoy it if you can persevere through the initial learning stage
whats the appeal of this game?
programming
this is too autistic for me, you're basically learning a real programming language that doesn't exist. i'll just stick with MOLEK-SYNTEZ instead, my small brain can handle that one a bit better.
this is what im talking about.

On the plus side, custom puzzles are written in JavaScript
Programming small robots to do coop stuff is fun.
yes, in fact it has more than one
I just keep them on my ipad
i agree with the previous poster, exa frickin rules

very sad
Why did they put out a visual novel in the midst of a puzzle game wave
Taking over this thread with maximum survivors!
Post your favorite hacking game. Right now I've been playing through UplinkOS and Midnight Protocol and UplinkOS is definitely more of what I'd want out of a hacking game, but Midnight Protocol is very cool in it's own right.
hacknet
The only hacking games out there are basically hacknet, uplink, and exapunks.
there's plenty more if you look. midnight protocol like i mentioned, bitburner, worldwidehack, gray hack, and those are just the ones i have. there's plenty more, a lot of it quality.

Why do you hate Eliza, Anonymous
she's cute
answer me NWO
yeah, i printed it out and put it together.
while True: Learn() is pretty good at teaching machine learning and optimisation
i dont like the ui scripting
gets too cluttered too quickly
same with 7 million humans or whatever
it does a bit, yeah, but the logic puzzles in of themselves are quite engaging i think
did you ever try his other game, learning factory
it's on my wishlist, but i tend to be resistant towards early access games now. looks like another not-factorio game to me, though. what do you think about it?
builds on while true learn in an interesting way
or over-complicates it, but over-complicating it scratches the itch of factorio in an interesting way
I'm a shenzhen and TIS gigachad but EXApunks lost me on the spatial element. Can someone explain what it does
Networks are separated into little isolated nodes. You can tell your EXAs to move between them. Most commands can only affect other things in the same node. It's far less spacial than seems, it's a pure logic game like Shenzhen and TIS.
I love video games
elizabro btw
eliza bros
Eliza is a great game
